The Finder[edit]

It is not about opinion. Wikipedia is not a place to inform people about every single show fans want to save, because that probably would be every show. Material added to the article, especially material added in the opening of the article, should be sourced to reliable secondary sources and give due weight to the significance of an event. That people start a petition to save a show is not significant because it happens with pretty much every, if not every, show. If some drive to save a show gets a particular amount of attention, such as the "six seasons and a movie" campaign going on with regards to Community, or is actually successful in saving the show it becomes worthy of mentioning in an article. More importantly, Wikipedia is not a place to try and get people to save your favorite show. The moment we open Wikipedia up to active campaigning for every person's pet cause of the day is the moment Wikipedia ceases to be a meaningful project.--The Devil's Advocate (talk) 23:23, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
