YemArabSf, I'm so glad to hear that you've taken on a project like this. Your start on Al Masirah is a good one. What I meant by significant works of journalism were any reports that received widespread coverage from more than one source. In the Jane's Weekly article, Al Masirah photojournalists are mentioned as they put themselves in danger to get images of Saudi rocket launchers. Also if the station has won any awards or received recognition for doing something. Are there any personalities of note besides the ones who were killed? Are there any shows that have well-known hosts? You might want to look at articles of some international news sites, such as the Wikipedia article on Al Jazeera to see if you can get more ideas. It appears that some of your students are submitting their assigned articles before they have filled in the placeholders. Please tell them not to submit drafts for AFC review that still have placeholders.
