License tagging for Image:Adlerchild3.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Adlerchild3.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:06, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

In order to sign your posts, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Thank you.--VectorPotentialTalk 14:37, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}.[edit]

{{helpme}}.

Hi, I thought that by signing - in my Username would be hidden. But it appears here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alfred_Adler&action=history

How do I change my user name on this page (history page for Alfred Adler) so that my user name doesnt show? Thanks.

In short, you can't. Signing-in prevents your IP from showing to 99.9% of users, giving you near total anonymity, should you want it, but your username will continue to show in the history (a requirement of the licence Wikipedia uses). - Jarry1250 (t, c) 20:29, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}.

I have tried to follow the instructions in the WikiBiography A Class re-assessment process. I have substantially re-written the entry for Alfred Adler after it received a B class rating in early June. I would like the A class department to re-assess it as my re-writing of this article is now complete. How do I contact them for help with this since I have tried but failed in following their instructions? Thanks

I have fixed it. You forgot to edit the page you created. Now you have to to to Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/A-class review, click on the "edit" behind Alfred Adler and add your statement. --Thw1309 16:16, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
