The president of ECOSOC is Frederick Musiwa Makamuve Shava, was elected seventy second president of the Economic and social council on 28th July 2016. Ambassador Shava is currently the Ambassador and permanent representive of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the United Nations in New York. The consultative status tend to being a United Nations procedure to including the non governmental organizations to the United Nations body. United Nations secretariat Department of public information (DPI) the department of public information was established in 1946 by the General Assembly Resolution (1) To promote global awareness and understanding of the work of United Nations. DPI under take this goal through Radio, Television, print, the internet, video conferencing and other media tools. The department reports annually on its works to the UN General Assembly's committee on information. The committee which meet once in a year is responsible to overseeing the works of DPI and for providing it guidance on policy, programmes and activitiey of the department mission the department of public information is dedicated to communicating the ideals and works of the United Nations to the world, to interacting and partnering with diverse audience, and building support for peace development and human right for all Biafra is so impressed and have been a good participant and adherent to the United Nations's point of view. We the Indigenous people of Biafra have been expelled by the Nigeria authority in 1966, but the United Nations had accepted the Biafrans, and caution Nigeria government to stop killing the Biafrans.
