If you are interested in Russia-related themes, you may want to check out the Russia Portal, particularly the Portal:Russia/New article announcements and Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board. You may even want to add these boards to your watchlist.

Again, welcome!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:36, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

On another note, I also recommend that you read the Wikipedia disambiguation guidelines before you continue your work with the disambiguation pages. Your recent Solovyov-related moves, for example, do not conform to the guidelines. When disambiguating by occupation, for example, the occupational title should not be capitalized (i.e., it should have been Alexander Solovyov (revolutionary), not Alexander Soloviev (Revolutionary) (with this case, romanization is also incorrect, as per WP:RUS). Furthermore, the entries on the disambiguation pages should not be piped (i.e., instead of [[Alexander Solovyov (Revolutionary)|Alexander Solovyov]] it should have been simply [[Alexander Solovyov (revolutionary)]]. Finally, there is very seldom a need to disambiguate similar but not exact spellings: Alexander Soloviev (Historian), for example, should be moved to Alexander Soloviev, and the latter should contain a disambiguation link at the top pointing readers to the generic Solovyov disambiguation (not to the article about a revolutionary). Hopefully this makes sense. Feel free to let me know if you have questions or need help fixing any of your previous moves. Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:36, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
