Welcome![edit]

Hello, Cyberesources, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 06:48, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You stated on my talk page in this edit that Amelia Singer's publicist gave you the picture you posted on Wikimedia Commons, whcih has currently been found to be a picture Commons does not accept.
Please describe the apparent conflict of interest with Ms Singer and an article about her. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 06:50, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Knest Manufacturers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. September 2023[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because your account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. 331dot (talk) 12:45, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to editing. Please give me the chance to right my wrongs

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 13:19, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Yamla
I understand that I have been blocked because my article does not sound encyclopaedic. I will do my best to address the issue and rewrite the article. To do so, I will read other articles to get a feel for the tone that you expect. I have never, and will never cause damage or disruption to the Wikipedia platform. I intend to make useful contributions, but so far, the community won't let me. Kindly reconsider the block, and I look forward to your reinstating my account.
Best regards,

Please read the block notice carefully, as well as the policies linked to therein. You will then need to make a new unblock request that specifically speaks to the concerns given. 331dot (talk) 15:02, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The block notice lists four steps you must take to become unblocked. The rename step is satisfied, as is the disclosure. What remains is:
  1. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  2. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
You were not blocked because your article "does not sound encyclopedic"; you were blocked because your article is what Wikipedia considers WP:PROMOTION. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 19:48, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello jpgordon, and thanks for that insight. I placed the paid tag in "Unblock Request: Round 5" but I'll include it here again:
I've just gone over the sources for the Knest article, and I now have a better idea as to why Wikipedia considers it ineligible. Nothing appears to be written from a neutral point of view. I was using this article for guidance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Interviews#:~:text=It%20is%20okay%20to%20use,sometimes%20require%20in%2Dtext%20attribution
In particular, I was going with what is written in the second paragraph. As you can see, most of the article's sources are interviews carried out by Indian journalists.
I am doing my best to follow the platform's guidelines and make quality contributions. The fact that I'm a paid editor does not mean I'm only trying to make a quick buck. I understand the nature of Wikipedia and I desire to be a valued member of the community. I am still learning, still getting my feet wet. As such, I am kindly asking that you reinstate my account so that I can start to make meaningful contributions.

Cyberesources (talk) 00:15, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have cleaned up the unblock request, and the paid disclosure template (which actually belongs on your user page, not your user talk page, so I have moved it there). Never include the nowiki tags in your requests, as they render the template useless. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 03:14, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for clearing that up. I appreciate it very much. Cyberesources (talk) 12:26, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You appear to have made no effort to read and to understand the reason for your block. Repeating the line starting "I understand..." in multiple unblock requests will mean that an admin will grow tired of this at some point in the future, and apply further sanctions to prevent time wasting.
Please do as you have been told, and address the reason for your block correctly and directly. Your current and prior requests are dissembling. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 06:48, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Timtrent, we meet again. I merely copied and pasted Round 4, and tweaked it a bit, because I thought I had the template wrong. I did not mean for it to be wearisome or for me to appear dissembling (ha, learned a new word). Thank you for your time and guidance. Cyberesources (talk) 12:29, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock Request[edit]

So, are you guys ever going to unblock me? This feels punitive. Cyberesources (talk) 00:27, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Admins are volunteers, doing what they can, when they can. Please be patient. 331dot (talk) 08:17, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Abullen" is taken as a username, so you will need to propose something else. You don't need to make a new request, just edit your existing request to replace "Abullen" with your new choice. 331dot (talk) 08:20, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much! I've proposed a new name - bulledna Cyberesources (talk) 01:41, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Renamed. A different admin must review the substance of your request. 331dot (talk) 08:41, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you are really serious about being unblocked, read with care the reason for your original block. Do not say that you understand it. prove that you understand it. I can say that I understand Russian, but I cannot read a word of it nor understand it when spoken.
While it appears likely that your username change has satisfied part of the block reason, the other part remains unsatisfied. This is the best help anyone can give you.
I do not object to paid editing per se, but I object to bad editing especially from an editor paid to edit. I hope you have used the time unable to edit wisely by learning how to present a draft for review that is acceptable immediately. If so, good luck with an unblock request. If not, then not. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:56, 23 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your insights. I'm not sure how I can prove that I understand the reason for the block if I'm not allowed to edit. I can't submit anything for review, so how will editors know if I've reformed and turned from my evil ways? I would love to have the chance to show you a new draft. Perhaps you can propose a topic and I submit a draft to you ... will that work? Bullena (talk) 00:06, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
