Reporting future events[edit]

Please take a few moments to read WP:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. It is better to say "The Experimental Aircraft Association announced it intends to induct Christopher Kraft [or Bud Day]] into the National Aviation Hall of Fame on October 1" rather than to say this will happen. (Or best, wait until after October 1.) Also, your citation fails because the EAA web page says "not found"; perhaps they regarded the announcements as premature? Please check the National Aviation Hall of Fame website page, it had already announced the inductees for 2016. Robert L Crippen's name was announced a year ago in November of 2015.
