RE: PCD

Ok honestly? I think Nicole is actually a good singer. Most of the material from her album Her Name is Nicole has leaked and most of it is actually quite good. But Nicole cannot sell music by herself. The truth is she needs backing dancers and the PCD brand. The reality of PCD is that only Nicole and Melody have record deals. Kimberly, Jessica and Ashley are all employees of Interscope and are paid to dance with the other two. They knew that when they agreed to the group.

It is wide known in the music industry that Nicole is a diva. Its a real shame because she's quite talented. But so is Melody who can definately sing although her voice has a unique tombre/tone to it. The group do sound best when more than one of them sings and that's what frustrates me most. Take the song "Top of the World" on this you can hear Melody and Jessica sing and you know what, it actually sounds descent. Fans of PCD have to bare all of the above in mind when it comes to the group. Originally PCD was supposed to end as a burlesque group but then Interscope discovered Scherzinger and realised they needed to create a group around her for her to be commercially viable. All of the girls would have known that their PCD arrangement was a springboard for something. I think the situation has been poorly handled and managed. Sophia

Hi! At first, I though that the image might have been made during the lifetime of Anna but after both her brothers died. It would have been a convenient propaganda image for Anna as it showed her with her two dead childless brothers - it also excluded Sophia, who might have been regarded as co-heiress. Thus, the image could have represented one brother as the heir of another (left to right) and then Anna as the heiress of both. But the file says that the image was made in the 17th century so this theory can't be right. I am sorry I can't help you. Surtsicna (talk) 17:01, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

Bullan or Bullen?

Hey David, I just had a look at your ancestors. I noticed you have a Bullen in your family tree; but you've alternatively spelt is as Bullan. Could you possibly be related to Anne Boleyn's family as her surname was originally Bullen? They came from Norfolk.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 07:23, 9 February 2010 (UTC)

Elisabeth of Hungary

Hi David. It's true, the dates about Elisabeth wife of Wladyslaw of Opole fit, but in almost all the known sources showed that the Duke of Opole's first wife was a noblewoman daughter of a disputed Voivode (either member pf the Bassaraba or Lakovic families); I think that this Elisabeth daughter of Charles I of Hungary and sister of Duchess Catherine of Swidnica died young and, if she was "married" with a Piast prince (who wad certainly some sense given the fact that her mother probably was Maria of Bytom), there are few candidates by the rank of life of Elisabeth: one of them was Boleslaw II of Niemodlin, who belonged to the Opole branch and for this probably was named Boleslaw of Opole (this theory was placed by me in the Boleslaw II wikipedia article). Thanks for write!!!! Aldebaran69 (talk) 18:41, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Of course, but I was one who believed that Catherine and Elisabeth (if she existed), were daughters of Maria of Bytom, and in consecuence, had more close ties to the Opole branch. Aldebaran69 (talk) 19:51, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

David, I just created an article which I know will interest you. What do you think? It doesn't have much info but it's all I can find at the moment on her.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 17:17, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

Another Judy

Hi David, I just thought I'd let you know that I created an article on Judith of Flanders, Countess of Northumbria. She had some rather illustrious family connections didn't she?! I wonder if there's an image of her somewhere?--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 12:51, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

I have started a discussion on her talk page, in regards to which title should be used in article's name.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 19:07, 4 March 2010 (UTC)

Margaret of Masovia

I'm curious, does Margaret of Masovia have any descendants or did her line eventually become extinct?--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 16:54, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

A Bosnian woman married into Poland?

A history professor I know told me that he had visited a grave in Poland, a grave which the guide claimed to be the grave of a medieval Bosnian woman who married a Polish nobleman and became famous for her charity work. The guide wasn't talking about the Polish queen Elizabeth of Bosnia (who obviously wasn't burried in Poland). So who was the guide talking about? Do you know of any Polish queen, duchess or countess born in Bosnia or to Bosnian parents? Thanks, Surtsicna (talk) 20:30, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for answering! It just occured to me that Medieval Lands mentioned a certain Jelena as daughter of King Tvrtko I of Bosnia. According to the Polish Wiki, a certain Jelena of Bosnia married pl:Przemek I Opawski and gave birth to pl:Przemek II Opawski. She must be the one! Surtsicna (talk) 15:02, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

No citations on 'Isabella I of Castile' page

Hello Daaviiid, I was reading the 'Isabella I of Castile' page, and saw that your name occurs several times in the edit history there and couldn't help but notice that there was not one single citation on the entire page -- not even a 'references/' tag in markup! Nice article but it needs citations, throughout. Regards, GWillHickers (talk) 19:35, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

Hi David, I just created an article on Constance's successor Alice of Ibelin. What do you think? I altered her name from Alix d'Ibelin to Alice of Ibelin as I think it reads better for a Wikipedia article; also her father's article is Guy of Ibelin.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 08:39, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

I just finished creating another article on Alix of Ibelin, Queen of Cyprus.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 14:53, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Alicia of Majorca

My latest article should be of interest to you: Alicia of Majorca. Sorry about England!--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 19:04, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Here's my latest. I think you'll like this as she was a granddaughter of Queen Isabella I of Jerusalem! Do you know if there are any images of her?--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 15:53, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi, David! I am working on all kinds of articles, but mostly on Maria Theresa of Austria. You haven't been active for a while. Surtsicna (talk) 13:38, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Btw Lady Gaga ♥ Lol

Margaret of Soissons

Hey David! I been noticing some of your new articles, and I was wondering if you know anything about Margaret of Soissons, Queen of Armenia. She was Leo V's wife and the last real Armenian queen, maybe you can find the time to look into her.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 18:24, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Wow amazing David! You did it in less than an hour. Wonder if the two Margarets are both relatives and descendants of the Counts of Soissons at the time.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 20:59, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Aloha. I added & populated web citation templates for several references in the article that you started, Bianca of Savoy. You might want to use citation templates going forward; more info at Template:Cite web & Citation templates. I was able to get more information by viewing source & page info for each page, plus going to the home page for each citation. Peaceray (talk) 05:42, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

_wow_

Wow, you have created a lot a web pages. I plod along slowly; I am trying to cite things the best that I can. I am a part-time reference librarian, can you tell? Peaceray (talk) 05:46, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Sidonie of Poděbrady

Hey David! Nice job Joanna of Aragon, Countess of Foix article I Improved her ancestry box for her and added one for her mother Martha. Well anyway I was wondering if you would like to create a article for Sidonie of Poděbrady, you created an article for her twin sister Catherine. She also has a picture.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 06:54, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Agnes of Aquitaine

Hey David. If you have time for an article can you create one about Agnes of Aquitaine, the second wife of Ramiro I of Aragon and the daughter of William VI or VII of Aquitaine? But you would have to be a little creative about naming her because there is already a Agnes of Aquitaine, Queen of Aragon and Navarre and a Agnes of Aquitaine, Queen of Aragon, and this Agnes' birth and death date are unknown.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 17:54, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Just doing that. I'm going to clean up the entire list.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 19:43, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
Just create a stub. Check Isabella of Urgel's article, it's as short as Agnes' article will be and she had a son who was king.--Queens Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 23:06, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Thanks David. You did a fantabulous job. You probably should change the first paragraph to show how her indentity is disputed and how the indentity of her father is disputed between William VI and William VII.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 23:15, 29 September 2010 (UTC)
I don't know. I wish he'll take it less seriously, I mean I can't put any dates that are historically guessed. He and Srnec are the same. He seem to only altered Agnes' page but Ermesinda's page seems pretty intact with a few arrangement changes. BTW have you checked any of my new lists, you can check some out at Category:Lists of countesses, Category:Lists of duchesses, Category:Lists of princesses, and Category:Lists of queens.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 15:50, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I moved it. As for Majorca, it'll be finished after I added the independent queen consorts. Do you think another page should be created for Agnes of Aquitaine, Countess of Savoy since Agnes, wife of Ramiro I of Aragon isn't really even on both Agnes? Agricolae removed all the children of the Savoyard Agnes of Aquitaine.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 16:30, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I saw that connection of Bertha and Agnes, but we can't be sure if there were one or two Agnes. We can just say how they may be the same person.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 17:24, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
I don't really care anymore, he must have been easedropping into our conversation. I hate arguing because in the end I always lose. One bad thing about me is that I'm a pushover. Well List of Majorcan consorts is done, in time I'll create another section for the titular queen consorts and another section for the Ladies of Balaguer. --Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 01:55, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Please give your opinion on Talk:Miguel da Paz, Prince of Asturias
Nice work on Agnes and Elisenda's page. My computer has been infected since Wednesday; I'm only replying via my Ipod. I probably won't edit until tommorrow or the day after. By the way congrats on Urraca's article. One question who is this aunt Sancha of her's? I don't think I've ever heard of her.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 04:38, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi!

Hi Daaviiid, thank you for the nice compliments. I do not think I have ever edited Joanna Elisabeth of Holstein-Gottorp, unless it was about a few minor organizational issues. Might you have meant someone else? Thank you for commenting though! I have also seen your edits in the past, and commend you for them. Ruby2010 (talk) 20:47, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

DYK: Urraca of Castile, Queen of Navarre?

Hello, Daaviiid. I have nominated your recent contribution Urraca of Castile, Queen of Navarre for DYK. You can see the nomination here. If you're interested in having your work as part of DYK and linked from Wikipedia's MainPage for a few hours, please put in more footnotes and references. Thanks. DYK clerks usually ask for at least one footnote per paragraphs. Hope this helps. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 19:42, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Well, I don't see why translation makes this ineligible for DYK. Anyway, if you have more sources, please stick them in to the article. We might get lucky. :-) Happy editing. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 20:01, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
I'm hiding {{Spanish}} for now. This article is not about the Spanish language. Perhaps the intended template was {{translated page|es|source article}} on the talkpage? Pls See {{translated page}} for more info on this template. --PFHLai (talk) 00:59, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Congratulations on your DYK nomination. I have since added the refs so they appear after the punctuation. If you need anymore help I'm available to give you a hand.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 09:51, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
David, I put citation needed in the places in the article where you need to add a footnote.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 09:56, 17 October 2010 (UTC)

Alicia Keys

Hello David... I'm not sure what's happening. The rumours were that Keys was supposed to be release "L.O.V.E", simmering power-ballad in the vein of "Halo", written by Toby Gad. However its just been announced that "Wait Till You See My Smile" is being released in the UK november 29 2010. My guess is that because radio in the USA was slow to respond to "Put It in a Love Song" the label decided not to release the song and released "Unthinkable" because it was getting more attention. Though fans and critics alike agree its the best song on the album, "Unthinkable" is probably too urban and would probably not make it on the Radio1 playlists. I can only give you my educated opinion lol... tbh... "PIIALS" time is well over, releasing its video would not make it a successful single. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 19:39, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

Well the pregnancy probably did probably pay a role in that. Releasing Dance in the Dark would be a bad idea since a new Gaga single is due December 10/January 11 with the album in Feb/March 2011. Releasing a single in the UK without a video is pointless because Airplay doesn't count towards the final single chart. Also the music video is a massive part of promoting the song over here because someone like Gaga wouldn't be able to perform it on any TV shows or anything cus of her tour. So I'm not sure it would be a good idea... -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 19:53, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Why yes I am lol. UK born and bred. what about yourself? -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 20:01, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Cool. How old is thee scouser? I'm a Yorkshire man LOL -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me
OMG! eek! I'm 19 and I feel old Lol.I love the scouse accent ... its so funny (in a good way). Yeah I watch X Factor, I'm assuming that Rihanna and Cheryl Cole will perform this upcoming week as both their singles are out. I'm not sure about Bon Jovi but I'd imagine JLS and Alexandra Burke would be good guesses because they both have new releases to promote. I would think that Pixie Lott and Nicole Scherzinger also stands a good chance of performing for those very same reasons. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 20:15, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
I could well see Pink performing. And maybe Gaga on one of the last shows perhaps the final? Does that mean you're taking yours GCSEs then? what subjects did you pick? -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 20:22, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Cool. I took RE, Food Technology, Resistant Materials and Drama. oh yeah i forgot people got halfterm! Im at my 2nd year of uni so there's no such thing as half-term anymore. ... -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 21:57, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
