Hi Daddyfristy and welcome to Wikipedia! I saw your note requesting "Confirmed" permission to upload an image of Mr. Peanut. Please be aware that we are not particularly responsive to corporate attempts to polish their image or promote their brands in our encyclopedia. You should read our conflict of interest guideline to learn a little more.

We are of course happy to work with corporate representatives to correct blatant errors and misrepresentations in our articles, and also to help keep our information up-to-date. Can you point me to where I could have a look at the new image of Mr. Peanut you wish to upload? Since the Mr. Peanut image is copyrighted, it can only be used once under our non-free content policy to identify the article subject. Therefore it would have to be used as a substitute image uploaded to File:Mr peanut.png. To keep the older non-free image, it would have to be discussed in the article as being the historical logo as the subject of third-party commentary.

Looking at the Planters website though, our version already looks current. I'd be interested to see your proposed replacement. Hope this helps & regards. Franamax (talk) 19:52, 20 October 2011 (UTC)
