Actually they don't as not one source provided actually states that its controversial. It is your interpretation that it is controversial but I'll remind you to read WP:OR about providing original theories or synthesis. As well as read WP:NPOV its about providing all significantly covered points of view. Until reliable sources start calling it controversial it isn't controversial. Should you find sources calling it controversial then cite those when you make the change, but you would need more than 1 or 2 otherwise it is not a significant viewpoint that requires coverage (read undue weight on NPOV)--Crossmr (talk) 22:40, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

I've asked you not to insert original research in to the article and not to violate WP:NPOV under undue weight. Of the 4 sources provided, only a single source points to it being "controversial". If you'd like to include this verbiage you need to provide evidence that more than just the Herald view this as a controversy. You can call for all the outside moderation you want, but NPOV is binding policy and very clear. Your failure to assume good faith not withstanding, a single source doesn't provide a significant viewpoint worthy of coverage. If you have more sources than the washington post feel free to include them. As far as my being the only editor to oppose it, you are the only editor to include it as no one else tried to restore it until you did. Controversy is not a neutral, objective term. Its a loaded term used to express a certain point of view. Criticism is different from controversy. Digital Rights management is a neutral term which is the name used by the majority of sources (something that was previously discussed when another editor tried to change this article and several other articles to read digital restrictions management). If you have other reliable sources which call this a controversy, include them in the article or provide the on the articles talk page for discussion or the content will be reverted as a violation of WP:NPOV under undue weight. Per WP:V you've been asked to provide evidence and your statement that there is evidence without actually backing it up with said evidence doesn't get the material kept in the article.--Crossmr (talk) 09:04, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
