Abuse Report: Claude Closky & Marcel Duchamp Prize (both French and English Wiki Page -- 4 pgs total)

Damirgraffiti,

Sorry for the interruption but I would like to report repeated vandalism of 4 wiki pages. I have been trying to add a recent peer reviewed article (from HuffingtonPost.fr) but there has been constant vandalism and take-dows. The 4 articles appear here:

  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claude_Closky
  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcel_Duchamp_Prize
  3. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claude_Closky
  4. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prix_Marcel_Duchamp
  5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LG_Williams

Any suggestions? Thank you --

Hi. I'm not the author of the deletions but I'm interested in it. It seems to be a Hoax published by the Huffington Post claiming that Claude Closky's work is inspired... by an artwork that doesn't exist. Wikipedia was not designed to help spreading hoaxes I think. Dear Damirgraffiti,

  1. I would like to add the following page to the above abuse report: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LG_Williams
  2. HuffingtonPost.com / HuffingtonPost.fr is the #86 website in the world. The site is peer reviewed. Moreover, it does not publish "hoaxes".
  3. User: Jean-No states above that he has NOT been the author of any deletions. However, the record is clear: He has deleted my post and recorded another false claim. Here is the factual record of the deletion: 4 septembre 2012 à 11:11 (diff | hist) . . (-825)‎ . . Claude Closky ‎ (détournement de Wikipédia pour un canular issu du monde de l'art (l'artiste "plagié" n'existe pas réellement et ses oeuvres, en tout cas, n'existent pas)... google-translaté...)
  4. Any claims to the contrary / or about Professor LG Williams's identity can simply be made at the addresses provided: Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts School of Art, PO Box 871505 | Tempe, AZ 85287-1505 | Campus map | 480.965.8521 or Carol Cox ASU Art Dept Office Specialist, Sr. E-mail: Carol.Cox@asu.edu

Adoption

Hi Damirgraffiti. I have removed the "request for adoption" template on your userpage, as you have been offered adoption by Buggie111. Given the number of users starting on the encyclopedia each day and the number who look for adoption, there can often be a backlog when just displaying the request. You are much more likely to find an adopter if you are pro-active about it, perhaps asking an editor or two from the list of adopters if they would consider adopting you? Good luck in finding someone to help out. WormTT(talk) 09:28, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 23

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Twister (1996 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Hailstorm (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
