Hi, Dark T Zeratul, Welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope you like this place — I sure do — and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read about the Five pillars of Wikipedia and simplified ruleset. If you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. If you need help look at Wikipedia:Help and the FAQ , plus if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions)! There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. And if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my user talk page or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will be by to help you shortly.

Additional tips[edit]

Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills the Sandbox is for you.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes (~). If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Five will get you the datestamp only.
  • You may want to add yourself to the new user log.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.
  • If you're still entirely confused, or would like to get a better grasp of your wikipedia skills, and you have an IRC client (or don't mind getting one), check out the Bootcamp. It's not what it sounds like, but it is fun and can help you with your editing skills.
  • If you're bored and want to find something to do, try the Random page button in the sidebar, or check out the Open Task message in the Community Portal.

AfD nomination of Crocker Highlands Elementary School[edit]

An editor has nominated Crocker Highlands Elementary School, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Crocker Highlands Elementary School and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:59, 29 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surtur and Thrym[edit]

In the first edition AD&D Deities and Demigods, Sutur (page 106) and Thrym (page 108) are listed with the Norse pantheon, as lords of the fire giants and frost giants, respectively (per the "Legends & Lore" retitling copy that I have). In the second edition AD&D book Legends & Lore, on page 184, we again have Surtr and Thrym as the lords of the giants, and listed under the Norse pantheon. So they also appear in the 3rd edition D&D Deities and Demigods, as you know, under the Asgardian (Norse) pantheon. They are all very clearly based on the same Norse deities. So I am at a loss to understand why you think the information from one should be separated from the others? I'm not even honestly sure why we have these "creative origins" sections on these articles, as that is information better suited to the articles on the actual mythological beings rather than the D&D versions inspired by them. Everything published in D&D is made for playing in D&D; there is nothing published in D&D that is meant for mythology apart from D&D. So you have me very confused as to what your intent is. 73.168.15.161 (talk) 18:44, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

The detail was excessive for the synopsis. The pipe link wasn't an issue in itself. The issue is when writing a short synopsis you can just say, "The Bronx." It's not even shown in the film. Unless it's talked about later in the article with refs it just seems unnecessary in order to briefly explain the plot. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 03:25, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
