Move tab[edit]

You're correct about this article title being in need of a sp. correction. There's a move tab visible while viewing the article. It's located near the top of page in-line with article and discussion tabs and isn't too hard to find. Hit it, fill in the blanks, and press the button. Thanks, done it. Daveofthenewcity (talk) 21:38, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sovereign state[edit]

Don't give up, I don't mind what you've done at all. I just wanted to put a definition in there somewhere. harlan (talk) 14:57, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Biggest town in UK?[edit]

Hey - I noticed you reverted an IP edit which was claiming MK to be the biggest town in the UK. I would have done the same myself, but seeing that made me think to look into it. I had believed that Dudley was still ahead of Milton Keynes, even though we have now overtaken Northampton and Reading, but looking at Dudley I'm not so sure. If we can get an up-do-date figure for Dudley, it may show that MK is in fact the largest town after all. Tom walker (talk) 15:51, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I presume this is to do with the definition of a 'town', but I would suggest that it would be misleading to start the article on Milton Keynes with this claim, even if it is true, since Milton Keynes is not especially big as a conurbation. "large town in Bucks" seems to me more useful than 'largest town in the UK" (It would be interesting nevertheless to know whether it is technically the largest town in the UK) Daveofthenewcity (talk) 21:21, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
