:- ) Don 15:33, 31 July 2012 (UTC) Hello Don, very nice of you to fix the issue for me. Thank you very much :) I'd like the updated version of Summa Metaphysica I submitted this morning to be up there. I made some corrections this morning. I noticed about </ref> :( so I fixed that this morning too. I hope it works. Thank you for your assistance and guidelines Don :) DavidBirnbaum (talk) 16:54, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want your article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Summa Metaphysica deleted, and the article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Summa Metaphysica (2) renamed to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Summa Metaphysica? --  :- ) Don 19:04, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Don. Yes! Your suggestion is correct :) Thank you very much for all your understanding and help in this matter :) DavidBirnbaum (talk) 19:11, 4 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

David, Nothing on the Wiki ever gets deleted, so makes no sense to delete an move at this time. If/when your article gets approved, we will do the move then. --  :- ) Don 19:23, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Forget all the above stuff. Your article is here now: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Summa Metaphysica --  :- ) Don 16:22, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Don, thank you for trying to help me out on this issue. I think another editor rejected "Summa Metaphysica" article. When I clicked on the link you gave me, I see this note at top of the link "Thank you for your submission, but the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at God and Evil instead." FYI "God and Evil" and "Summa Metaphysica" are very different in many aspects. I sent you and Mabdul a message yesterday but I didn't see that msg anywhere :( I'd like to explain about each book separately. We conduct book events for each book as well. Summa Metaphysica is the combination of the two-book series "God and Evil" and "God and Good". I'd like to submit "God and Good" after this. Please let me know what my next step is in order for all books to appear on Wiki separately. You've been very helpful in this matter. I thank you for your assistance. Please let me know if you need any other information from me. Thank you Don! :) DavidBirnbaum (talk) 14:14, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wiki editors :) I was advised to delete one of my submissions. Please delete one of "Summa Metaphysica" articles. I need to improve and edit the submission. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. DavidBirnbaum (talk) 16:08, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have submitted two articles David. Please delete one of them. --  :- ) Don 22:37, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Don for your acknowledgment :) Please walk me through the process of deleting one of the same article. I don't see two articles. I see one :( I apologize and would like only one of "Summa Metaphysica" article to appear on Wiki. Another article from me is "God and Evil" (this is already on the web). Please help because I'm not sure where to hit delete. I'm still new in this. Thank you in advance :) DavidBirnbaum (talk) 18:52, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, DavidBirnbaum. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Summa Metaphysica, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

self-promotion[edit]

Please don't add statements from your own works to wikipedia. This is strongly discouraged; see the policy about conflict of interest. Staszek Lem (talk) 21:35, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Staszek - self-promotion is not warranted on wiki page dedicated to Jewish Philosophy. Please feel free to start your own page elsewhere Jimharlow99 (talk) 23:52, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you both for your notes. Still new in this thing. It's for the book I'm working on written by David Birnbaum. I'll check the guidelines and improve the text. DavidBirnbaum (talk) 15:02, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear editors, I'm not too sure where to write this. I work for David Birnbaum, therefore you see the author's name. I thought it would be wise to leave the name open for reviewers. There is nothing to hide. I'm working on improving and changing the language of the article. I'm still learning. I spoke with many professors who actually read God and Evil, most of them are from philosophy and theology departments. The book was published by KTAV publishing. Before the Internet, most reviewers (mostly professors) sent their reviews via hard copy. I compiled these documents (http://summametaphysica.com/reviews/). I also noticed that David Birnbaum's reference in theodicy and privation were removed. I didn’t create these articles. The reference in theodicy led me to believe that submitting God and Evil is worthwhile. You have to investigate who added the references before deleting from the two important articles. I changed small letter to caps for God and Evil book title under the theodicy and privation articles, but did not create them under these two. Some of the claims made were not true. I was surprised but I understand the issue. This is why I'm working on changing the language in the article. I personally received (to my attention) reviews by professors from various schools regarding Birnbaum's books. We worked on the book event bringing in some scientists and religious academic scholars to have a discussion on metaphysics. I have met some of these professors in-person. While I agreed to re-work on the article, I disagreed on some of the issue raised regarding the author. Thank you for your time. -on behalf of DavidBirnbaum (talk) 17:25, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
