Will be glad to comply with official Wikipedia request. However due to the nature of wikipedia, it is impossible to tell exactly from where these rwquests are coming. Please email, so I can verify that the email originates from wikipedia and not an author in the dispute.

Wikipedia is not a democracy. This isn't a altogether a "vote" and I wouldn't say it's between Wikipedians and anyone else. The AfD will be closed based on the strength of the comments made as to how all this fits into Wikipedia policy. WOW! I am impressed. Let me tell you a little bit about who you have impressed. I was Tom Truscott's officemate when he was at Duke University. Tom did a summer internship at Bell labs in the 70's, he return with a 12" mag tape with uucico program on it. Usenet was started when Tom and our UNC counterparts wanted to send email and files back and forth. It was joint program at the time, only way to reach critical mass in Computer Science. I was the 2nd admin for phys (later phys.duke.edu, the Physiology Department), the 3rd site on Usenet. Email was store and forward, usually after 11 PM when phone rates went down. There was no domain name service (DNS), mail and files where routed by the path of machines you needed to get there (dch@duke!chico!harpo!groucho). I was there in 1984, when the US Dept of Defense, divided ARPAnet into Milnet and their civilian contractors and Usenet into the Internet. I've lived through and was an early adopter of Archie, Veronica, Gopher, Ferret, Cern server, Mosaic, before I was able to return professionally to my more biological educational roots. Since about 1992, I've been more involved in the Human Genome project and ncbi.nlm.nih.gov was the principle site I visited for 10 years.
