July 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Stop Removing Content[edit]

Please stop removing content from Wikipedia, thanks. Netalarm 12:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing. Netalarm 12:44, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please Respond[edit]

I'm not seeing how the content you're removing is your own added content. Please explain this to me on my user talk page. Netalarm 12:50, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; the edits appear to be reversions of those made by Roannevista, in some cases comprising the entire, and well-sourced, text of an article. These deletions require explanation so as not to be interpreted as vandalism. JNW (talk) 12:55, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits and explanations will gain credence if you can furnish an example of a credible revision. JNW (talk) 13:15, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Message received. Editors will be watching these articles with interest. In the meantime, the addition and subsequent deletion of so much technical content is notable enough that it might be a good idea to offer an explanation here [1], at an appropriate project page. JNW (talk) 13:26, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, if you need any help with adding the new content or need help with Wikipedia's policies, feel free to contact me or JMW for help. Thanks. Netalarm 13:35, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have left a message here: [2]. JNW (talk) 13:47, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership[edit]

Once content is added to wikipedia it is released into the creative commons public domain. Thus you no longer own the content. --Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 16:51, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Per this observation, and further discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine, I have reverted some of your edits. If you believe the information can be improved, this may be done by updating sources, rather than wholesale removal of content. If there is a legal issue as you implied on my talk page, then please explain so at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. Otherwise your edits can be perceived as vandalism.
