A tag has been placed on Image:G1-12-Album-NeilYoung-Harvest.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:G1-12-Album-NeilYoung-Harvest.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Words (between the lines of age)[edit]

OK, much better attempt. I would be careful of peacock terms but in music articles it is often difficult to avoid. It would also really need more references. I don't want to upset you or Neil Yonge :-) Triwbe (talk) 19:55, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Really?[edit]

Those "hilarious edits" to my user page, along with all of his other vandalism, earned him an indefinite block. Just so you know how it works. Tvoz |talk 10:04, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough - you're right, you can find it funny. I found it juvenile, and a waste of everyone's time. Hope you'll be a more productive editor here than that idiot. (And I'm referring to his complete contribution history.) Cheers. Tvoz |talk 18:01, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it kind of was a personal attack on me - it's my user page that he vandalized in a racist and homophobic way - and I wouldn't want anyone to think even for a moment that I endorse that kind of foul crap if they happened to land on my page before I or anyone else had a chance to remove it. And look at his other edits (click on "user contributions" on the left when you're on his page) - he didn't do anything productive here in the short time he passed through - just vandalized and made work for other people. So the fact that I find the content personally offensive is one thing, but the more important point is that we're here to write an encyclopedia, and having to deal with idiots doesn't make the job more pleasant. Think about it - you found his rewrite of my page amusing - so perhaps you think he has some writing talent - how about if he channeled that into an article in a constructive way? Anyway, I'm glad that you're not planning on going that route, and sorry for jumping down your throat, but when people destroy other people's hard work, and other people applaud it, it really pisses me off. There's just no place for it in the community - had he done his comedy act on his own page, not mine, the only discussion would have been if it can remain or if it was outside of community standards. (Hint: it was.) But he was retaliating for my vandalism warnings and really, this isn't the place for him. I hope it is the place for you, and I look forward to seeing your work here. By the way - I'm delighted (really!) to know that 16 year old Irish guys (from Ireland, I assume) like Neil Young! There's hope for the future after all. But I had to remove "Words" from the list on WikiProject Songs because that list is only for song articles that have been granted featured article (FA) status - which that article has not. That's a long process, and the article is nowhere ready for it yet. But good for you for starting the article. Tvoz |talk 23:09, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Uh - I'm not thrilled to stumble upon this: DeargDoom91 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log). But I'll assume good faith for the moment. Tvoz |talk 23:34, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Neil Young - pretty much all of it. Helpless, Rockin in the Free World, Cinnamon Girl, Hey Hey, Like a hurricane, Down by the River, Old Man, Cortez ... can't name them all. Then there's Thom Yorke doing Cinnamon Girl and Helpless - perfection. Tvoz |talk 05:05, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
