Welcome, Deep 13!

Hello, Deep 13, and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm Redvers, one of the thousands of editors here at Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!

Regarding the repost of deleted articles. I'm sorry you're shocked about it! Unfortunately it happens more often than it doesn't. There are two reasons. Either the person has a specific point to make and will keep reposting until everyone gets tired and lets them get on with it; or they are continually tinkering with their article and have an edit screen open. When they click save, the article magically reappears.

We always try to assume its the latter - in other words, that an editor is clueless until proved malicious. That's only fair.

So please don't let these things stress you out! Instead, when you have reason to tag an article for speedy deletion, click the word "watch" at the top of the page, or choose the option "watch this page" when you save the edit. Then you can see the article in your watchlist (link top right of the screen). If nothing's there, then the article is still deleted. If the article appears in your list, it has been reposted. Calmly review it and mark it for deletion again (or take it to WP:AfD where the community can decide that an article needs permanent deletion and protection).

That way, you're performing a valuable service for Wikipedia, even if you do nothing else! But of course, please feel free to do other things! And don't get stressed by a bit of simple reposting - we're on it, and I thank you for your help! Cheers! ЯЄDVERS 21:16, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your Vandalism of the user page of user:Ros Power[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning.
