Message[edit]

You posted a notification on my talk that there was a message for me here. I can't see any message Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:09, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Having looked again, I'm not sure that the original tag was correct, it doesn't look to be a copy or close paraphrase of that page. I've therefore restored it. However, your only reference did not support any of the text

  • You need to provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines
  • I have also contact with author of that algorithm, I had got permission for adding a screen shot — Copyrighted text and images, including screenshots, are not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text or image, isn't sufficient.
  • at least a warning should have been given to the user prior to deletion of their article.— The point of speedy deletion is that there is no requirement to inform or discuss. This is particularly the case with copyright infringement, which is illegal.

Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:08, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well i didn't know it was called speedy deletion also i am not very familiar with copyright material associated with Wikipedia but i will try my best to make that article without copyright content.
  • yes i had added correct link in talk-back template but it didn't work as intended. anyways purpose was served so i am ok with it.
  • i know it would have been esy for you if that talkback waoked correctly sorry for that Demi lion (talk) 13:20, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, but your first priority should be to find proper references for the text Jimfbleak - talk to me? 15:07, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Your best bet is to find a relevant project, check the talk page to make sure it's active and post a message asking for help Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:17, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
this is the article i am talking about

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CASTp

You shouldn't have any url links in the article itself, move them to external links. There seem to be several projects that could help with that, like biology or IT, it's not something I know anything about Jimfbleak - talk to me? 06:31, 16 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

can u plz make that article as stub it doent have enough information. castp article

Psipred[edit]

I made these edits, mainly formatting and links

  • Try not to have multiple links to the same article, just one at the first occurrence of eg protein is enough
  • Your references will look better if you use <ref>[url description]</ref> or the template <ref>{{cite web| author = | title= | work= | url= | publisher=| accessdate = }}</ref> (title, url and publisher are the only obligatory fields)
  • Check that none of your "see also" are already linked in the text.
  • There are many terms that are underlinked. It's expecting a lot from readers to expect them to be familiar with, say hydrogen bonds. I added that link, but there are many other technical terms which need linking

Jimfbleak - talk to me? 14:37, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

thnx i will try to add links to some of the terms as u mentioned.
