Disambiguation link notification for November 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Liberal Democratic Party (Bangladesh), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grand Alliance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on File:Oli Ahmad under attack.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Deletion[edit]

I deleted the the two images because SuperMarioMan had identified the images as being present here and here, on sites which do not have a public domain or CC-BY-SA 3.0 Licence. Often people just post images they have found on the internet, which are therefore copyright violations. The alternative explanation is that you have posted, or allowed the posting of the images, on these sites, which complicates matters because they do not have a licence compatible with Wikipedia. To be able to use them here, you would need to follow these instructions. Please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the image copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient if they have been published elsewhere. It would be a lot easier if you could use images that haven't been posted on the internet. I'd also suggest uploading any images here in future, so the are available to Wikipedias in other languages, but that's up to you Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:12, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Oli Ahmed, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
