Asaram Bapu[edit]

I see that in edit summaries to the Asaram Bapu article, you state "this page which is maintained by us", [1] and "We're maintaining this page". [2] Can you clarify who "we" is? You should note that Wikipedia accounts are held by individuals rather than organisations, and that shared accounts are liable to be blocked. You should also note that nobody "owns" articles, and nobody can be excluded from editing on any other grounds than non-compliance with Wikipedia policy. You would do well to tone down your comments, read up on the relevant policies (starting with Wikipedia:Neutral point of view and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources), and in future work to ensure that changes to this controversial article are arrived at through consensus. Thanks for asking. I'm glad that I got a change to share my thoughts with you.
Can you clarify who "we" is?
Let me explain you, most of the times I use "we" to refer "I" myself. I'm an individual and have no direct or indirect link/contact with any organization, I contribute my time, efforts, energy at Wikipedia to add value to it.
Personally, I believe one must be honest while writing any article etc.. at wikipedia, and they must write on the basis of facts not on their personal liking. If someone knows about the facts then they are most welcome to share their thoughts but if someone is not aware of anything then a user shouldn't raise a finger on a person who does social service. I truly apologized if my words hurt you. I've a good knowledge about this topic (Asaram Bapu) for which I write because I'm active at community clubs, read a lot of articles, meet people, watch news, travel a lot and also do freelancing so I got a deep insight about few people, things and by the way it didn't happen overnight. I gained this knowledge by working too hard for a long time. If I say or write something it's always based on facts and figures otherwise I prefer to stay quite.
Let me explain you, I started contributing to Wikipedia based on my best knowledge and research and kept writing on this topic (Asaram Bapu) and after that I couldn't spare time for few months. Now I noticed few users have not only removed all the text matter which I had written but also added irrelevant matter and fake issues which has no grounds and has no concern with this person. As I do live in this country and I do know the things more precisely than anyone else so trust me I do respect everybody and everyone's opinion but that doesn't mean that somebody deletes all the facts which are mentioned in the page, and then start modifying it just sake of experiment.
I do know that no one owns Wikipedia pages but we must post or write whatever the fact is rather than concocted stories or issues which create hype etc....
I do request you (User:AndyTheGrump ) that let me restore the correct and well edited version of the page which I created and also assure you that I know that information is up to date and 100% accurate. Personally, I visit to many places and have proper information about many things otherwise I don't do anything about which I'm unsure.

In addition, if you HAVE a relationship to the subject of the article you shouldnt be editing it at all. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 22:13, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I confirm you that I DO NOT have any relationship directly or indirectly with any organization or person about whom I write on Wikipedia but I do have good knowledge about these topics on which I write because I have years of experience as I mentioned above.

Again, I do apologize if I said or did anything wrong but here my concern was just to represent myself, as I'm a very honest person and whatever I do I always work from the bottom of my heart and it hurt me that I did something genuinely in a good manner and someone spoiled it and rather than stopping those users who removed all the text matter of this page and you raised a finger on me.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on File:Sant Shri Asaram Ji Bapu.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://jaisiyaramji.wordpress.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 22:12, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 08:52, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
