Tagging claims as "uncited" in lead section[edit]

Hi, just a note to say we don't normally cite claims in the lead section of an article; these are supposed to summarize the cited materials in the article body, and the lead is meant therefore to rely on those citations, in the same article. I've cited some claims for you in the lead of Trofim Lysenko but it'd be appreciated if you'd not tag in that way, it's not necessary. The case is quite different when the claims aren't explained and cited in the article body, of course. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 12:49, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
