This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Disconnector.cum, contains the word "cum".

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I picked .cum instead of .com because someone already picked .com, bear in mind that I am the domain name owner of disconnector.com

Decline reason:

Still a username violation. -- DQ (t) (e) 00:21, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I believe you are completely wrong but would like to get a chance to change the username to avoid falling into the "sock account" category

Decline reason:

Eh? Nobody's accusing you of sockpuppetry. If you would like to be unblocked, please use the {{unblock-un|new username}} template to indicate what new username you'd like to use. Our username policy very explicitly does not allow for users to use a website as their username. While I don't see it's been an issue so far, please note you will not be permitted to promote your website while here. Hersfold (t/a/c) 01:07, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Responses to standard COI probing questions (not at all accusations) below are insulting, WP:BATTLE, and show that there is no sign of the editor being able to edit collegially on this project. No valid reason to unblock this account for any purpose whatsoever. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 08:36, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't find anything at that site, but here's the usual query ...

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 05:00, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You Daniel Case are a complete liar and your comment here serves as nothing but vandalism, I have never advertised any company, group or product. Disconnector is a domain name I use for myself and give a chosen few access to.
I do sir understand that wikipedia is an encyclopedia which is why I am here.
I do sir understand conflict of interest, for example me wanting to be constructive and you being destructive.
I do sir understand that the subjects has to be notable here.
You insult my intelligence and waste everyones' time. Disconnector.cum (talk) 05:16, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Per above comment on uncivil response to perfectly civil query. Talk page access revoked so we don't have to deal with this anymore. — Daniel Case (talk) 03:42, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
