March 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Eagles247. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Matthew Judon, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:11, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Eagles247. Your recent edit to the page Jalen Mills appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:25, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Again at Joe Flacco. You may be blocked from editing if you continue adding premature information about reported sports transactions. Eagles 24/7 (C) 00:06, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What the hell? Again? Dude, it was literally confirmed by the Eagles AND the NFL themselves, numerous people even added credible citations on it. How is it still not official? Sorry if i sound rude, I'm just really getting sick and tired of this even when I (and others) provide citations from credible sources such as the NFL themselves or the team in question. -DisplayedName https://twitter.com/Eagles/status/1374514166350770183?s=19 See? How is it still "unconfirmed" or "premature" if it has been confirmed by the Eagles themselves? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DisplayedName (talkcontribs) 01:21, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Eagles had not yet confirmed anything when you added the information. Please see WP:RSBREAKING and WP:SPORTSTRANS for more information. I'm equally sick and tired of people reading Twitter "reports" and immediately editing Wikipedia without waiting for official announcements from teams. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a newspaper or rumor mill. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:05, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Um, they did. I added it about 30 minutes after they posted it on social media. DisplayedName (talk — Preceding undated comment added 02:08, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit was at 7:29PM ET and the Eagles' tweet was at 8:11PM ET. Eagles 24/7 (C) 02:10, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

They posted it on Insta an hour prior. DisplayedName (talk — Preceding unsigned comment added by DisplayedName (talkcontribs) 02:47, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Also deliberately not true. If you continue to add premature transactions information and/or try to gaslight other editors, you will be blocked from editing. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:58, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Eagles and the NFL themselves said it when I added it but ok. I'll stop ig. DisplayedName (talk
