Welcome!

Hello, Dmitri Yuriev, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Again, welcome!  --TeaDrinker 00:53, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting[edit]

Superb work reverting vandalism. There are some great resources for vandal fighting at WP:VAND. You can warn vandals by leaving a message on their talk page. There are templates to assist this; all you need to type is {{subst:test1}} through {{subst:test4}}, and a warning will appear in its place. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page, User_talk:TeaDrinker, if I can help with anything or you have any questions. Keep up the great work! --TeaDrinker 00:56, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've been trying for 30 minutes to upload a photo I took of a historic site. I placed it in WikiCommons but can't transfer it to Jean Baptiste Charbonneau. VERY frustrating! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mritter4u (talkcontribs) 19:22, October 19, 2009

Hi there Dmitri Yuriev. I want to inform you that you were unwittingly part of an experiment of newbie treatment in which I participated under a different name. The purpose of WP:NEWT is to determine how experienced users would be treated if they were new users and created sub-standard but viable articles. The alternative account was LestWeBeScattered; you can find a description of my experience at WP:NEWT#Articles by Olaf Davis in case you are interested. Also, I want to apologise for having deceived you and used your time in this way, diverting it from real work on the encyclopedia. If I can offer my time and services for anything you need in return, feel free to ask at any time. Cheers, Olaf Davis (talk) 22:16, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request[edit]

Hello Dmitri Yuriev, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 21:28, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
