Request reason:

It's been a long time since I was on Wikipedia. As a ten-year old, I was blocked for doing what I thought I could do... I didn't know people could see my user page, so it came as a shock to me to find that lying about a business, and joking around was not proper. So years passed, I started helping with Wikia projects, and I learned more about Wikipedia in general. I created a new account because I didn't know my password for this one, and when I reset that, my new one got autoblocked because I was using the same IP. Now I've come here for a chance. I clearly acknowledge the reason I was banned, and I will refrain from doing things like that in the future. There was no reason to do it, and there is no real reason to continue doing it. Should I become unblocked, I will continue to edit just as I have on the other one. If I have to be blocked again, I understand.

Decline reason:

Declining, but see below. Yunshui  20:00, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm happy to accept this unblock request - we all make mistakes, and we all grow up to regret some of them. However, before unblocking, we need to decide exactly what to do regarding your Doubled-revolutions/FosterHaven account. Your use of that account while this one was blocked is technically an abuse of multiple accounts since it constitutes block evasion. I should just block it outright and give you the standard offer, but since you've been trying to make useful contributions with it and since you've been upfront about the situation, I'd be willing to let that slide.
The options are basically as follows:
  1. You can continue to edit as User:FosterHaven. I'll remove the IP autoblock so that you can use it again, but this account will remain blocked. You will need to be open about the link between these accounts; leaving a note on your userpage would suffice.
  2. I can unblock this account to allow a change of username. If I do so, you will need to place a request at Changing username as soon as possible after the block is lifted. You will also need to abandon the FosterHaven account; I can block it for you if that would be helpful. Again, a userpage message linking the accounts would be appropriate.
Option 1 is probably the better choice, since it allows you to retain attribution history for the constructive edits you made as FosterHaven and effectively abandon this account's history. If you've like to use Masterhex as your username (it doesn't seem to be taken) then you can always file another change of name request from your FosterHaven account. Let me know what you'd prefer. I'm not exactly sure; I'm not good with these kind of decisions. I'm definitely okay with being open about it, as you said, but the thing about the IP's is that, it's not a VPN to hide my identity; my household has two ISP's, and I can switch between networks if I wish, but if that's a bad thing, I can refrain from doing that. I haven't used FosterHaven much, let alone edit articles a lot, so it wasn't clear to me that I was actually evading anyways. I almost forgot that this one existed, and I couldn't remember (by all means) my old password. I got to reset it, and submitted this right away because I knew I'd be in a bit of danger somehow. So to patch it all up, I'm going to choose the first option, but just out of curiousity... would it still be possible to change this account's name even if it'll remain blocked? Okay, I've adjusted the block on this account, which should enable you to edit freely from your other account using the same IP. It's not, I'm afraid, possible to change the name of a blocked account, for the simple reason that name change requests have to be made by the account having it's name changed at WP:CHU - and blocked accounts can't edit that page. Got it, but just one more thing; You stated earlier a userpage message linking the accounts would be appropriate. How would I do that? FosterHaven (talk) 22:51, 25 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
