Welcome![edit]

Hi fellow Wikipedian, and a warm welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have enjoyed editing as much as I did so far and decide to stay. Unfamiliar with the features and workings of Wikipedia? Don't fret! Be Bold! Here's some good links for your reference and that'll get you started in no time!

Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

  • RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism.
  • Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable.
  • Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created.
  • Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one.
  • Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Oh yes, don't forget to sign when you write on talk pages, simply type four tildes, like this: (~~~~). This will automatically add your name and the time after your comments. And finally, if you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page. Once again, welcome! =)- Mailer Diablo 17:53, 13 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In Re: Snape[edit]

You recently edited the Snape article on the subject of casting a Patronus, saying it was not stated that he was the only one; you also added the caveat that it could have been in an interview you missed. The statement has a reference, that reference to a webchat with JK Rowling, and if you go to that webchat, on page 11 you would see the following exchange:

Samantha: Was Snape the only Death Eater who could produce a full Patronus?

J.K. Rowling: Yes, because a Patronus is used against things that the Death Eaters generally generate or fight alongside. They would not need Patronuses.

The assertion was referenced. Magidin (talk) 14:45, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. I was working on the fly and missed the reference note.Doc W (talk) 02:24, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

E.E. Smith article Reference[edit]

You have stated that you had located a copy of the 1947 Campbell/Smith letter referenced in the article on E.E. Smith. I am very interested in obtaining a copy of the letter. Can you help me? Wysoed (talk) 23:40, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

North American Confederacy[edit]

There has been some talk about deleting the North American Confederacy article or merging it with The Probability Broach article. Since you created both I figured I should let you know in case you want to say anything about it. Zombie Hunter Smurf (talk) 18:15, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Stephanie Gannaway-Osborn, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DGG ( talk ) 00:39, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
