That is our job :). Dominikmatus (talk) 13:41, 30 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting compound! The page is displaying a bunch of errors related to the {{citation}} templates used in the references. First, you can save yourself some typing by using {{cite journal}} instead of the more generic citation, and you can omit things that really make more sense for a book rather than a journal (publisher= for example, of a major journal, and url= if there's a doi=). Those alone might clear up the errors, which report "More than one of |periodical= and |work= specified". DMacks (talk) 00:49, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. Is it ok now? :) Dominikmatus (talk) 10:50, 22 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Dominikmatus. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Goatskrieg, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Josh1024 (talk) 20:28, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Goatskrieg[edit]

Hello Dominikmatus,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Goatskrieg for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Josh1024 (talk) 20:30, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Goatskrieg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. —KuyaBriBriTalk 22:03, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Need a Czech speaker/writer[edit]

Hi, Dominik. Are you available to assist with a Good Article review for an article about a Czech association football/soccer player? About a third of the 50+ footnotes are online Czech language sources, and they will need to be checked that they support the referenced material in the article. Please let me know. Thanks. Please don't....[edit]

...call unsourced material obselete, especially when you are not a expert regarding Russia.--85.212.83.10 (talk) 14:44, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, first, using 100 years old source is not making it a fact. Please search for more sources otherwise keep it as it is. I don't understand why you have a need to point to some north-russian origin of Slavs. It's already present in article about Slavs. Adding prefix russian to Old East Slavic is not needed too. Also, read the already cited articles about the inscription. You will see that we can't easily assume it's really a slavic inscription fro mthat area anyway.
