{{helpme}} Hi Bovineboy2008. Thanks for your welcome note, realy appreciated it! I took some time to create a page in my userspace (Mark Griffin (Spiritual Teacher), so that I could become familiar with the wiki markup language. The page is ready to be moved to the public area. I followed the "move page" instructions, received a notification that it was successful -- but I find it is still in my userspace. I need some guidance on how to get it out of my userspace and into the public space. Thanks in advance for your help!

When you leave messages, please remember to "sign" your name, by putting ~~~~ (four tilde signs) at the end. This will add your name, and the date and time. You can also do this by clicking the 'sign' button, pictured to the right.
The move worked fine; Mark Griffin (Spiritual Teacher) is live. The system leaves behind a redirect - see this special link.
Note that using {{helpme}} will get you help from any user; to contact that specific person, leave them a note on their talk page, which in that case is User talk:Bovineboy2008, or for me, it'd be User talk:Chzz - usually, there is a link to a users talk page as the right hand part of their 'signature', as either the word (talk) or as a link from part of their sig, like the ► symbol in mine, here. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  20:57, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dougertman - sorry, I guess our edits overlapped there. Erm. Feel free to move/remove this, whatever, of course.  Chzz  ►  20:58, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is about the article name. I would suggest that it be moved to Mark Griffin (guru) (or at least Mark Griffin (spiritual teacher)); the former because that's his claim to notability, the latter because the Manual of Style dictates that lowercase be used for non-proper names. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 22:09, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have to actually move the page. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 00:48, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Fire Mountain Retreat Center requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Disambiguation link notification for June 17[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Guru Gita, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mark Griffin (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
