Protection notices[edit]

Is there some reason you're removing protection notices from pages which are sprotected? Policy and general practice usually encourage the notices, as new users will frequently be confused without them. Luna Santin 00:03, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

These are not idle questions. Please reply. Luna Santin 00:05, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why are you removing protections[edit]

You removed the protection tag off the George W. Bush which attracts alot of vandalism if not protected properly. Do you have any reason for doing so? ViriiK 00:04, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, just removing the tag does not remove the protection. If you wish to see the protection removed, make a request at WP:RFPP. Thank you. --StuffOfInterest 00:05, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stop removing protection notices[edit]

Please stop removing protection notices immediately! If you continue to do so you will be blocked. Removing notices does not remove protection and you need to follow proper procedure in requesting the removal of protection. --StuffOfInterest 00:09, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's my objective I want to cancel this account my friend is angry at me for using his name and I'm about to log out never to come back again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Douglas Bradford Oliver (talkcontribs).

Then there is much easier ways of accomplishing it like asking. You have just put {{helpme}} on your talk page to get some help. --StuffOfInterest 00:16, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He's already been suspended indefinitely. ViriiK 00:19, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just as well, I had to kill his user page to remove some potential personal information. --StuffOfInterest 00:21, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
