March 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SoWhy. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to BioViva have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.
Especially do not add external links to sites that contain defamatory material about living people.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add defamatory content, as you did at BioViva. SoWhy 10:16, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Editing BioViva[edit]

I cut content from BioViva that in my opinion did not meet Wikipedia's standards for medicine/health referencing. Curious to see if any editor will revert. In my opinion the controversy about the absence of any clinical results is addressed in the article, and serves to state the situation better than deleting the entire article. If you disagree, the proper path is to start an Articles for Deletion process. David notMD (talk) 13:41, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

'Signing' comments[edit]

The way to 'sign' a comment is to type four of ~ at the end. David notMD (talk) 11:55, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Usedtobecool. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Talk:BioViva, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Usedtobecool ☎️ 17:59, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify, you must not draw a link between a fellow editor/user and their possible real world identity unless the editor has already shared the information voluntarily, on Wikipedia itself. Usedtobecool ☎️ 18:15, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
