RFPP[edit]

Dr. Neurosis, I appreciate your help, but that request, to have a user talk page protected, is a waste of our time: the page hadn't been edited in three years. Drmies (talk) 04:30, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

NPP[edit]

Information icon Hi Dr. Neurosis. We appreciate your enthusiasm but please refrain from tagging articles for now – some maintenance tasks are not suitable for beginners. New Page Review requires significant experience, which you don't have yet. However, if you have already made at least 200 mainspace edits, you can enroll at the Counter Vandalism Academy to learn about keeping pages free of nonsense. Consider doing recent changes patrol for vandalism instead. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. I'll try to use New Page Patrol. Dr. Neurosis (talk) 20:30, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Declining unblock appeals[edit]

Please do not close unblock appeals - only administrators have the power to unblock users, and to see users' deleted contributions in order to assess whether or not to lift the block. Your enthusiasm is appreciated, but unless you want to be posting an unblock appeal of your own at some point, I'd strongly advise against taking on administrative tasks until you have considerably more experience with Wikipedia. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tsirr-virr lõokõnõ (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Disambiguation link notification for September 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hop! Channel, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Doki (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:25, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rocky the Flying Squirrel[edit]

Hello. I noticed you sent me a message on my talk page discussing my tendency to repeatedly revert someone's edits to a certain page, namely Rocky the Flying Squirrel. I was trying to explain to this guy, that the Nick Taylor live-action 1991 short (Rocky and Bullwinkle: One Last Story) is in no way connected to the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. --24.184.26.204 (talk) 02:32, 19 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do not template the regulars[edit]

Please don't template an article that is only 6 minutes old. Abductive (reasoning) 20:56, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy matters[edit]

Helllo- a few minutes ago you put up three templates on a new page I was still working on: underreferenced, underlinked, and lead too short. I accept that the lead needed more work; however, at the time you tagged the page it had 4 respectable references, not 0, one of them an encyclopedia. In addition, it already had six internal-Wikipedia links in 3 paragraphs, which hardly seems underlinked. Please, if you are going to speed-template pages, try for accuracy. Maybe even wait to tag pages until it's clear they're not being worked on. Your current method creates needless hassles for other editors. Alafarge (talk) 21:21, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SPI[edit]

Please restore my previous edit as the users are all blocked and we don't just change the date of an SPI. Praxidicae (talk) 17:05, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I apparently put the incorrect date; that's why I had to change it. Dr. Neurosis (talk) 17:06, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And especially in the case of this LTA, WP:DENY really applies, so I'd strongly recommend not tagging unless you are directed to do so by a CU or SPI clerk. Praxidicae (talk) 17:06, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
And please don't edit the archives... Praxidicae (talk) 17:09, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
FYI[1][2]. I'd echo what Praxidicae. With this user (both these users) - in fact many users - it's probably best not to add tags, since they probably like to collect them. -- zzuuzz (talk) 17:44, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
