I noticed you were hard at work with no feedback nor greeting from the community. Keep up the good work! Kukini 02:52, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hah! I had no idea you had a secret identity. It explains why you "look" new but are doing such great work. Dunno if I know you from elsewhere. I do appreciate RC patrollers. I also try to be welcoming and explaining when I do it in order to build a strong wikicommunity. Kukini 04:36, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

email[edit]

Where can I find rules regarding displaying email on Wikipedia? - Dr. Zaret 23:41, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure I understand the question, can you be more specific. In what circumstance are you displaying some email on wikipedia? --pgk(talk) 23:53, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You bet. I've noticed that on some talk pages, emails have been removed and replaced with <email removed> (or something similar). I was wondering why this is, and what the policy is regarding it? - Dr. Zaret 00:02, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Can't say I've come across that so without specific examples I couldn't tell you what particular policy it related to. It could be removed for a number of reasons, general prvicy being one. It might be just the email address which was removed, posting peoples personal information such as that is a blockable issue (WP:BLOCK#Posting_personal_details). --pgk(talk) 00:07, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Argh![edit]

Your reversion of vandalism on Anglicanism blanked whole sections of legitimate later text, including my new section on ecumenism, which had involved a lot of hard work! I don't know how to reinsert the later stuff that were put in after your revert, so I'm just going with my version. Fishhead64 01:51, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks! My apologies for my rather harried tone - you know us prickly Wikipedians. Cheers Fishhead64 04:21, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

hey, I flippin' live in Albany, who's better qualified to edit an article about it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.1.39.15 (talkcontribs)

Thanks![edit]

Hey man, just thought I should thank you for reverting my user page after it was vandalized. Keep up the good work! El Oso 05:25, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
