Welcome!

Hello, Dr.ng, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you edited was Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! You can also just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Theopolisme TALK 01:49, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You used the helpme template, but did not ask a question. Please ask your question below, and someone will come help you as soon as possible.  BarkingFish  01:31, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

References are already there and they are valid too. Can you tell me whether the reason for rejection is that the Reference section is not in actual format? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr.ng (talkcontribs) 18:59, 7 June 2012‎
The references given are all from the website of the article subject—which can't be used as the sole source for an article. You need to add reliable and verifiable third-party sources to the article before it can be seriously considered for inclusion. DoriTalkContribs 05:14, 8 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

June 2012[edit]

Please do not write an article about yourself, as you apparently did at N. Gopalakrishnan. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Hello Dr.ng. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 08:02, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
