Repeated unsourced and ungrammatical edits[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources.

In this edit, you falsely claimed that Debs came within 20 percentage points of winning the state, when the data already in the article shows that he did not. This editand this edit left a slew of stylistic, spelling, and grammatical errors. This one was total original research. First off I’m sorry if I’ve done any damage, I never meant to and I’m sorry for my poor grammar at times. When I meant debs came within 20% of winning Idaho, I meant the margin between him and Wilson was 20.77%, I had obtained this information from the already sourced US Election Atlas website though I’m sorry for not sourcing it, will do in the future. Edit to 1960 United States presidential election in Minnesota[edit]

Greetings, I noticed that this edit to the 1960 presidential election in Minnesota contained an unreliable source – a YouTube video – and was really grammatically incorrect. I appreciate that you're trying to contribute, but since these issues are happening in most of your edits, I highly recommend that, going forward, you seek guidance from other editors before making changes. We can't accept primary sources at face value. While this claim isn't controversial, we have to follow the general rule of thumb that we can't trust primary sources to accurately describe themselves. Furthermore, the fact that reliable secondary sources do *not* mention that he was chairman should indicate that it might not be sufficiently important to be included in this article. I recommend you start here and here if you want to better understand sourcing guidelines. I'll be honest though, I'm not sure I see what steps you are able to take going forward to deal with the grammatical issues. I mean, I would have expected you to already be trying to correct errors before submitting your edits, and yet that apparently hasn't been sufficient.
