pov[edit]

you wanted to write all about the humanitarian aid, drajay, heres a map I saw on twitter. good int it? you are fighting for your side all right aren't you? Wikipedia is meant to present RS and not just putinist pov all the time, remember doctor. what a month of humanitarian aid has done - Sayerslle (talk) 11:53, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sayerslle, you are completely misunderstanding my deeds (and words even).
  • I first made the change over which you are indulging in edit war with the following summary "The citations do not warrant the therm "heavy". The second inline citation after the sentence only describes a "crushing" defeat only in Ilovaysk. This cannot be taken as a heavy defeat for Ukrainian armed forces in the overall battle" The reason for the edit was that the inline citations did not use the word "heavy". So I thought it did not belong there. You reverted it with some statement about "here we go, - its important here because as hilsums report showed and she said, this was crushing decisive, explained by Russian intervention -)"
  • I am okay with the word "heavy" if indeed the hilsmum report says so. So I reverted your edit with this comment. ""heavy" was deleted based on two citations after this sentence. If "hilsum report" says it was "heavy", include that as a citation before reinserting". It means that put the "hilsum reference" after this text also. But it seems you did not understand what I said. You reverted it again with the summary "have been heavily defeated' is from hilsums report - please stop your pro- kremlin 'nuances'".
  • It dawned on me then only that you may not know how to use the same inline citations at two places. So I made a more clear summary "Please put <ref name ="hilsum"> or something appropriate before that ref text, and paste <ref name ="hilsum"/> after the current sentence b4 reverting" and reverted the still unreferenced statement "heavy defeat".
  • You reverted it again!!! Cant you put a citation where it is needed? The same citation can be used at two different places. Put that citation here please. Edit summary statement that this is referenced from some source is not enough. Put the "hilsum ref" after the statement you are repeatedly reverting PLEASE. --Drajay1976 (talk) 12:10, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
did you try watching the report where you will hear, with your ears, the words. Sayerslle (talk) 12:19, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sayerslle, no, I did not. I don't watch videos generally, I only read the links as videos take up too much of my bandwidth. But dont be emotional here. You can write wikipedia in accordance with the rules and policies that we have here. You can use the word "heavy" if that reference supports it, BUT PUT THAT REFERENCE AS INLINE SOURCE OF THE WORD "HEAVY". I will believe you if you say that the link contains the statement as I wont check video links. I am not reverting you to push a POV, but to ensure that statements which are likely to be challenged have inline citations. This is wikipedia policy. Citations should be there in the article, not in edit summaries. and please assume WP:GOODFAITH. If you cant assume good faith, please WP:Don't assume that there is bad faith. --Drajay1976 (talk) 12:27, 24 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Deletion discussion about Beheading of Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar[edit]

Hello, Drajay1976,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Beheading of Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Beheading of Bhausaheb Maruti Talekar .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, TheLongTone (talk) 13:18, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Experience[edit]

Mar4d has more experience than you in editing. Your account is old but you have less experience than him.

Are you aware of every sub-policies covered under WP:NPOV, WP:VERIFY, WP:OR, WP:WORDS, WP:CHERRYPICKING, WP:FALSEBALANCE, WP:UNDUE, WP:SYNTH, WP:OWNBEHAVIOR, WP:DISRUPTSIGNS, WP:EXTRAORDINARY, WP:ONUS, WP:BURDEN, WP:COATRACK etc.?

Mar4d is Civil POV pusher and SheriffIsInTown is gradually becoming tendentious editor.

You have less than 1500 edits on English Wikipedia. Mar4d has crossed 60,000 and SheriffIsIntown has crossed 9000. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Space Captain (talkcontribs) 14:31, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have less experience in En.Wiki, but I have more than 30,000 edits in all wiki projects combined. I am not very active in en.wiki and in wiki projects in general these days, but I am an administrator in ml.wiki and I have working knowledge in the policies you mentioned above. --Drajay1976 (talk) 14:38, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article All Kerala Blood Donors Association has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable company. fails Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. January 2022[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Dileep, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 18:43, 22 January 2022 (UTC) (Stricken off no reason part 18:46, 22 January 2022 (UTC))[reply]

Please note that content is according to Wikipedia policies, not Indian laws. If multiple reliable sources mention the name of the victims of a crime, it can be included per WP:NPOV, WP:V, WP:DUE and WP:BLPCRIME. Please read thru these policies. Thanks! — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 18:46, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
DaxServer, so, the problem in your opinion was the reason was not valid (as per the same policies you cited, I think the removal was valid). I will try the removal again with more specific reasoning. In this case, all the news articles used as referece to support the statement that Dileep was arrested and interrogated for the kidnap of the actress do not mention the name of Dileep as these sources follow Indian law. The contention that Dileep was interrogated in connection with the abduction of this particular actress is missing from all the sources. So, it is WP:OR. Thanks. --Drajay1976 (talk) 05:30, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Besides, the terms of use puts the responsibility on the users to follow the law of the land.. Wikipedia doesn't claim to be above any law! Section 228A of the Indian penal code provides for 2 year imprisonment to anyone who makes the name of a sexual assault victim public. Please follow the terms of use... Discretionary sanctions notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

This is relation to your edit [1] removing sourced info. Please note that content on Wikipedia is governed by Wikipedia policies (WP:BLP and WP:BLPCRIME in particular in this case). This was already explained to you in the above section. Please read thru:

I apologise. You're right. The sources cited do mention Bhavana. It might come under WP:OR. I've self-reverted. — DaxServer (talk · contribs) 11:08, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the revert. I would also like to point out that wikipedia doesn't claim to be above the laws of the countries where it operates. It also puts the onus on the users to follow the law. Please see the terms of use clause 1b

You are responsible for your own actions: You are legally responsible for your edits and contributions on Wikimedia Projects, so for your own protection you should exercise caution and avoid contributing any content that may result in criminal or civil liability under any applicable laws. For clarity, applicable law includes at least the laws of the United States of America.
