    • Title: City Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown called yesterday for mandatory lead testing of rentals and a prohibition on renting units until they are certified as safe from lead exposure. It gave unanimous final approval to Councilman William K. Greenlee's bill establishing a whistle-blower incentive for citizens exposing fraud on the government. Also yesterday, Council unanimously approved Councilwoman Maria Quiñones Sánchez's resolution urging Pennsylvania's congressional delegation to work toward immigration change. Sánchez said she wanted to see legislation that allows immigrants here without documentation pathways to residency and citizenship.
