Italics on poker player nicknames[edit]

Hi there, I noticed you removed the italics from Isabelle Mercier's nickname. Italics in poker nicknames are more common than non-italics. See also Greg Raymer, Marcel Lüske, John Cernuto, Dave Colclough, Antonio Esfandiari, Paul Darden, Hoyt Corkins, Paul Clark, Todd Brunson, Farzad Bonyadi, Jim Meehan, Paul Magriel, Tony Ma, Chip Jett, Kenna James, Bobby Hoff, John Hennigan, Phil Gordon, David Pham, Adam Richardson, Nick Schulman, Evelyn Ng, Martin De Knijff, Lucy Rokach, Willie Tann, Simon Trumper, Steve Vladar, Ben Roberts, Xuyen Pham, John Kabbaj, Gary Jones, Malcolm Harwood, Peter Evans, Harry Demetriou, Peter Costa, Carlo Citrone, Neil Channing, Garry Bush, Tony Bloom and Bruce Atkinson. I would suggest it makes more sense to leave the italics in than to take them out. Thanks. Essexmutant 01:02, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Benrofirst.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Benrofirst.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. —bbatsell ¿? 00:17, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated Vandalism[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to PopoZão, are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks.

Hi, Dwiki again. Just wanted to stop by to say that I have enjoyed many of your contributions, especially those related to high-stakes poker players. However, although I may find your discreet humorous vandalism funny and perhaps even somewhat accurate, you're just making more work for your new Wikipedia pal Dwiki and others when you make changes to pages such as the ones you made to Kirstie Alley and Frasier. C'mon, Wikipedia friend, don't vandalize, improve! Also, do you know about Uncyclopedia? Check these entries: Wigger Kirstie Alley.

Hi there. I reverted your edit about Colin Murray on the EPT page as no sources are cited. If you can cite a source for that statememnt then there's no problem. Thanks for contributing. Essexmutant 09:45, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Arniep 22:29, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Angelina Jolie, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Jkelly 20:23, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted your change to Leah Miller. I searched on the web for any references to the name you added, but could not find any. If you can cite valid references for this change, please do so. --Stephane Charette 01:52, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We beg you to stop ruining the hard work of others. Wikipedia is used as a reference by many people, and your vandalism can greatly inconvenience other people. We really hate to do this, but if you continue to make non-constructive edits to Wikipedia, we will have no choice but to block you from editing. If you would like to contribute in a positive fashion, you are welcome to do so. You may find the tutorial to be a useful resource for this. Dwiki 20:05, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:DanielNegreanuWPT.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DanielNegreanuWPT.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
