Hello,

I assume you're the same Duncan R. Mills who works at Oracle and is involved in the Hudson project? Wikipedia has certain conflict of interest guidelines that I would encourage you to read. Basically, the guide discourages users to write about subjects they're intimately involved in, as it's difficult to write neutrally about those kind of topics. What is typically done in these cases is to leave the editing to others with less of a personal stake. You are still of course free to point out omissions and mistakes on the talk page and to edit other articles.

Henrik, Yes I'm making no attempt to conceal my identity here. This particular topic is emotive to members of each community. Unfortunatley the article is being actively edited and re-editied by the Jenkins community in an attempt to score political points or whatever. I've not be reciprocating on the Jenkins (software) entry. These are now two separate Open Source Projects that will go their own way and evolve in possibly different directions. My aim here is to keep things factually correct, balanced and relevant as an article about Hudson, rather than as a chronicle of a OSS in-fighting. At this time I think that it is unlikely that we'll find someone neutral in this particular situation and we do have to keep the page updated as new versions of the software are released.

Duncan
