Good luck, man. Peace envoys like you are always very valuable. John Carter 13:59, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question. If I understand right (and that's always a question) I think the person in question would be allowed to develop user subpages for article creation, even if s/he were still not allowed on main wikipedia space. The record will show that this party is not really good at citing sources or developing consensus before making changes, those being the two things which most directly led to the current situation. If s/he wanted to do so, would the rules permit this person to try to develop a few articles in userspace during probation, and then shift them into regular space on the conclusion of the period. If they would, I would personally love to see this editor's name appear in the User:Durova/Triple crown winner's circle#Valiant return triple crown winners, and think that there is a reasonable chance that s/he might be able to create two articles which would at least be contenders for FA status during that time. It would also give them a chance to familiarize themselves with referencing and the like. And, again, my thanks for going the extra step in this case. John Carter 14:15, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. I'll ponder this. Thanks for raising it. --Dweller 14:20, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Don[edit]

Would it be churlish of me to suggest the Don? The Rambling Man 10:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not churlish, but ambitious! It's a real biggie. You up for this? I think we need some Aussie help with that, on the cultural even political impact aspects, etc. He certainly deserves an FA though. --Dweller 10:45, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
At first glance I think we may need to cut some of the article down a bit. Over 200 references already, it's ranked as a B-class article (which seems a little harsh) but is 123Kb large. Too much I think. The Rambling Man 12:23, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'll do a to-do list at Talk:Donald Bradman. --Dweller 12:24, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dash done, not automated, but find and replace in notepad! I know it's not the end of the matter though... The Rambling Man 14:28, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As the original author of most of the material included in Bradman's article, I must say I am puzzled by, and not in favour of, the editing and restructure that you have done. It has effected the continuity of the article as originally conceived, why change the section headings? I have one more section that I have researched, about criticisms and personal relationships of Bradman that needs to be fitted in somewhere.Phanto282 03:52, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Hucko AfD, take 2[edit]

Hello,

I nominated Mark Hucko for deletion again. Previous AfD was closed as "no consensus". In the meantime the sources for the article have not become any better and it is still unverifiable.

Your opinion will be appreciated at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mark Hucko (2nd nomination).

Thanks in advance. --Amir E. Aharoni 12:14, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Don[edit]

Hi Dweller. I haven't actually gone away because I'm still trying to keep my promise to sort out all those tour articles I created. The wikibreak notice is to remind me that I'm supposed to be doing something else and I do expect to be here only occasionally once I get properly organised. Having said that, I am interested in the 1948 topic and I'll do what I can. I managed to find some extra material for the main tour article and I think I can add some more to that. All the best. --BlackJack | talk page 15:42, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image choice[edit]

We could use Image:Don Bradman statue at Adelaide Oval.jpg - some awesome photography by a regular Wikipedian there......! The Rambling Man 16:08, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bradmanesque[edit]

Thank you so much for trying to help (are you an Aussie)? We really need examples from reliable sources, as this article will become one that meets Wikipedia's highest criteria. Anything from books, newspapers etc would be amazing! --Dweller 19:58, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few from newspapers:
  • "Having piled up 124 points in their previous tournament matches, England needed a 60-plus haul to maintain their Bradmanesque average." (the Independent [1])
  • "Queensland Premier Peter Beattie referred to Thorpe as the "Bradman of the pool" during a speech at a function for this year's Goodwill Games in Brisbane." (AAP General News [2])
  • "It [Glasgow Celtic's form] was consistency on a Bradmanesque scale." (Sunday Mirror [3])
  • "Bradmanesque in stature, Claudius bestrode the hockey world like a Colossus, winning three Olympic golds and a silver." (the Telegraph (Calcutta) [4])
  • "[John Howard's] supporters would no doubt proclaim his time at the political crease as Bradmanesque." (Herald Sun [5])
  • "AUSTRALIA boasts a Bradmanesque batting average at the Commonwealth Games." (Daily Telegraph [6])
  • "In the highest compliment ever, Charlesworth describes "the kid from Campbelltown" as comparable to Bradman. "A goal every two games is very good for an international player," he said. "Her records are Bradmanesque that's her quickness." (Macarthur Chronicle [7])
Hope they help. I have discovered from my (unscientific) researches that Ian Thorpe si the public figure most likely to be compared to Bradman. --Cherry blossom tree (not an Aussie) 21:38, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Up for a bit of format and cleanup work? Because I've already started GA assessing it, probly, I shouldn't fix everything myself....The author wants a bit of grammar help. Thanks, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 09:14, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK. No promises, but I'll try to take a look. Bradman needs oodles of work and RL is terribly interfering. --Dweller 09:23, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Appalling is a little vague for a description, can you be a bit more specific? Even general rules e.g start sentences with capital letters would help. I'll be the first to admit my page is not fantastic but PLEASE give me something to work with. It would also help if you put something on my talk page, but no matter you are probably busy. "Vandalism"[edit]

What's this ([8]) about? --Dweller 09:59, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See the rest of his edits. He was undoing my changes one at a time... including un-fixing the spacing which I had just fixed. He'd already been banned for doing so, but that one was missed, so I reverted it back. "Vandalism" too harsh, I guess, even though the user had malicious intent? bodman[edit]

Sorry, been tidying up loose ends at the GAC frenzy I've been doing recently. I'll get back on it straight away sir... The Rambling Man 10:50, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quite right too. Btw, the regular silly season at Talk:Cricket is open once again, if you're bored and need some rage you can enjoy one person trying valiantly to overturn well-established, tried and (too often) tested consensus without paying any heed to policies or indeed other peoples' arguments. Quite a good technique, just denying that the other person's argument is an argument, regardless of its value. I must try that IRL. Perhaps with my boss. --Dweller 10:53, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added a citation for Sir Hack Jobs. For only runout, 12 runs, 636 runs etc, if we give a stats guru link at the end, it will cover all these, and I wonder citing each one separately may be unnecessary and make the whole thing less readable. Btw, the very first citation is very shaky - an article which has nothing to do with cricket, just mentions it in passing, while talking about an individual who died sixty years ago..... Is "universally acknowledged" true anyway ? - while it is pretty much so at the moment (since all we have for comparison with the oldies are the stats), I suspect that he had many detractors in his time, but this is probably more for the three Johns (Lp, Hall and Blackjack) to comment on. Tintin 13:34, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice language. Reads very well. Tintin 13:41, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for helping. We've so far done precious little editing of the actual text, as it was already in excellent shape, so the credit's with other editors, not me and TRM. Our biggest challenge is going to be cutting it down to size :-( --Dweller 13:43, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you get someone to do a peer review of this page? I changed the lead after reading the lead guidelines and have used The Ashes as a model (since that's FA). I hope this new lead isn't "appalling" :) Monsta666 15:36, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Out of Their Element[edit]

I am sure your example is wonderful, but, I have no idea what it means. I do know what "out of their element" means; it's just the cricket speak I don't get. I'd appreciate a translation of "on turning wickets". :-) Bielle 21:58, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is Don, is good[edit]

Thnx for your message. I think the solution to the article length is to split it in two, as mentioned at the talk page. However, I can't think of a suitable title for the daughter article, best I could come up with is "Bradman Legend and Legacy", which I'm not that keen on. Phanto282 11:20, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. There's still a lot to do, notably, smashing it down to size, which is very very hard. --Dweller 10:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Saw your comment on Raul's page[edit]

I just wanted to throw my two cents in on the matter. Pictures do not add appreciably to the size of an article in any way since they are actually linked to instead of being embedded within the file. The programmers of Wikipedia place images in another place and the images are pulled up in various articles as requested when pages are loaded. As an example, here is your talk page without a picture:

Here it is WITH a picture:
The Wikipede

If you will look at your history page for your talk page, you will notice the difference in byte sizes (a difference of only 77 bytes) is only the number of characters in ":Here it is WITH a picture: [[Image:Wikipedesketch1.png|thumb|The Wikipede]]" and does not include the size of a picture. FYI, this is generally how web pages work too (which is why it usually takes extra time for pictures to load since they are being pulled from somewhere else than the text of the web page) BQZip01 talk 16:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your work on the reference desk is great! - Pheonix 20:46, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Being an asshole to well-meaning visitors on the reference desk is neither big nor clever[edit]

[9] - please don't do it again. It's perfectly reasonable to post such a message at a "miscellaneous" reference desk. If you don't know the answer, and have nothing valuable to say in response to a visitor's good faith question - often the first time many people will interact with Wikipedia - don't say anything. Neil  14:44, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If indeed, I did something wrong, you are sadly mistaken if you think wronging me as well makes it right.
Calling people "assholes" is offensive.
My post was intended to be humorous... and helpful. The OP will find more music fans at the Ents desk.
I've noticed all too great a tendency for Wikipedians to consider it acceptable to call each other "asshole" or all kinds of other abusive terms. Coming from an admin it's even less acceptable.
I'm immensely proud of my extensive record of helping people at the Ref Desks. I'm also one of the least bitey contributors you'll find.
If you're in a bad mood, go find a vandal to whack, don't sound off on me. --Dweller 15:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think the answer may have been a bit irreverent, and probably not what I would do in case people might get a bad impression or be a bit confused, but I think the reaction was rather excessive. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 00:44, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That graph...[edit]

Hey, check out Image:BestTestAverages.png. Is that the sort of thing you were talking about? Depending on how it needs to be used, I can always make it a lot thinner (i.e. if it was going to sit down one edge of the article). Perhaps there's a good argument for a Cricketing statistics of Donald Bradman (or similar) sub-article?

Great effort. It'll need the disclaimers of completed careers and min. number of innings, plus ref for its source, I reckon. Who's Budgiekiller? And good idea re daughter article. --Dweller 15:40, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, well the URL for the source is provided, but it's cricinfo, and before I forget it's here. The only disclaimer needed is minimum 20 innings and stats correct up to and including 10 August 2007. If you only want completed careers then let me know and I'll do another, and if you want to set the innings higher then let me know that too, not a problem. I reckon I could knock another one in next to no time now I'm set up.
As for BK, no idea... The Rambling Man 15:45, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Lol. I do think we should restrict to completed careers, to match with a) the article and b) the usual caveats of comparing active with completed careers (there's usually a tail-off in achievement, except with Goochie.) --Dweller 15:49, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
How many innings minimum would you like today sir? The Rambling Man 15:50, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Lol! I think the article uses 20. Or is that 20 Tests? And I'd like it with a side order of chips and a wally on the side please. --Dweller 15:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well I think cricinfo uses 20 innings so that'll be our guide. I'll get right on with it sir. Oh, and extra pickle? Right away, as I used to say as BK, you got it your way.... The Rambling Man 15:55, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You star. Weekend is here, so I'm signing out, as usual, for a while, barring minor visits if I have time. See ya. --Dweller 15:58, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Enjoy. Laters dude. The Rambling Man 16:00, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Check Image:BestCompletedTestAverages.png out. 20 innings, completed career, min ave 50 to get on-board (otherwise there are about 70 chaps above 45.00, and the graph gets messy)... What do you think? The Rambling Man 16:13, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well it would depend who reviewed it (!) but some reviewers who are more used to FA criteria will expect citations all over the place, I'd be happy with one citation per "contentious statement", which someone told me meant "something that may be disputed" - not very clear because you could, arguably, dispute anything! Not trying to vandalise, just stub the article, per the policy. Sorry. --Whitmorewolveyr 10:44, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just been trying to follow the policy on living people. Needed to follow that one - it's important. --Whitmorewolveyr 10:48, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nowhere in the WP:STUB WP:BLP does it say to remove over 90% of the text on George W. Bush. This is either a highly mistaken good faith edit or blatant attempts at being disruptive. Spellcast 10:51, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Spellcast, it's in hand. --Dweller 10:52, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry, I don't want to be disruptive. I'm not trying to vandalise. Please forgive me for this. --Whitmorewolveyr 10:59, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply] Thanks for that. And just one more thing. Can you also delete Blaze Bayley (band) temporarily? This is so the history on newly named Blaze Bayley (metal band) can be preserved. Cheers. Spellcast 11:42, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

    Revert of RFC[edit]

Hi Dweller - I've been attempting to get the RFC at Talk:Operation Entebbe to show up at the RFC page, copying and re-copying the template from other pages where it seems to work perfectly. I've still not got it to show up, but deleting the reference you'd added was part of my increasingly desperate attempts to fix it ..... do you know something that I don't? PalestineRemembered 21:05, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I have used 5 tildes. And I waited 2 hours before deciding it must be a spelling problem on my part, not a "slow system" issue. However, after multiple attempts and zero success, I'm back to the conclusion you're suggesting. Feel free to "sign" it again if you think it's an improvement! PalestineRemembered 21:20, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm bothered that the 5 tildes isn't generating your sig properly, but it's quite possible the bot will take longer than 2 hours to turn up. If you solve the problem, let me know. I'm curious. --Dweller 21:22, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I can't see a problem with the tildes, I've got time'n'date showing up, which is all I expected. I think there's 3 hours elapsed now, but I think I'm convinced by what you're saying. PalestineRemembered 21:27, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

    Virtual classroom[edit]

I saw the virtual classroom and was wondering how I could become a student. I have approx 500 edits so far and am familiar with Wikipedia but some extra tips could help. I already asked transhumanist but he appears to be away (last edit on 17th)--- Pheonix15 21:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

    Editing[edit]

I'm editing and rationalising the refs, as per your list, trying to get it down to comply with WP:SIZE. Apart from that, not much. Just enjoying a nice day. Phanto282 14:42, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ohhhh, thought you were concerned about my welfare..lol. I have cut it down by about 30kB, and I think it will be ready for a peer review soon.

Phanto282 14:55, 21 August 2007 (UTC) Think so, I put most of them there. The one of Bradman batting with his cap on isn't one I put up, but it may be dodgy cos I think it was taken in England in 1948 at practice. I see it pops up in a few places on WP. Don't know about rules for UK pics. Phanto282 15:06, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

care to take a look? I improved the refs, need someone to put in cn, re-structured a bit.look forward to your comments.

    Image dispute[edit]

Could you look at Image:AswadStoning.jpg and the pertinent discussion at Du’a Khalil Aswad please? User: Cshay wants to have the image removed from the Du’a Khalil Aswad page because he feels it is too graphic for Wikipedia. After failing to find support on the talk page, he has tagged the image with “Possible Copyright Infringement.” The picture already has a clear fair use rationale, and is necessary to the article. (He also did not warn me about the tag, as directed by the instructions) As an administrator, could I trouble you to review this image tag please? Thank you! --S.dedalus 02:21, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, thank you. I will look for a neutral third party with experience in images. --S.dedalus 20:47, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. i did post a message to User:Whitmorewolveyr's page but then I realised you blocked the user, so I'll direct the message to you instead. Recently I listed a requested move for Milan Central station to Milano Centrale station. Although I am not against the move which I proposed, User:Whitmorewolveyr moved the page with no discussion and by cutting and pasting, both of which I am sure violates Wikipedia policy and the GFDL lisence agreement. And so I am not sure on what to do. Thanks. Tbo 157talk 10:15, 22 August 2007 (UTC) The move was reverted. Thanks.[reply]

Hey, how's it going? You may notice the next time to pop over to see Bobby's page, that we now have an image in the infobox! Hurrah. I did some persuading of a Flickr-er and he kindly agreed to allow the image to be licensed under the right thing for inclusion in Wikimedia Commons. Hurrah! Flex Nibs article deleted[edit]

This article seems to have been deleted solely on the grounds that it was one of several articles I wrote that referenced Richard Binder's website. Binder is probably the greatest living authority on vintage fountain pens and one of only two living people who can actually make true flex nibs: referencing him in articles of some aspects of fountain pen construction is inevitable.

Yes, Binder does make his living from restoring pens, and his website also offers these services - but often such people are the only ones with the expertise and motivation to provide informative and authoritative references. As a general principle, would-be self-appointed anti-spambots should use the discussion mechanism rather than deleting just "because the link is used a lot of times". A good reference site will often be used a lot of times because it is good!

PS If this isn't the right way to contact you, please let me know. I'm knew to this: Umptious. Umptious 12:38, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the article and commented on the users talk-page; btw, I don't mind if other administrators undo my actions, as I assume good faith even in that and would never start a wheel-war about anything. Cheers. Lectonar 13:34, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've warned the original author. The copyvio material was added by an anon IP user who has spotted the copyvio tag and replaced it with {{hangon}}. Richemont Group PR editting wiki?[edit]

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:88.107.55.110

I'm rather concerned by this user: all his edits (except one trivial one) target companies owned by the Richemont Group and either add attention drawing stuff or remove unfavorable information and/or restored delete promotional material. In doing this he doesn't seem to provide any reasons in "Discussion". I'm still new: is there a better way to report this sort of thing? Umptious 17:51, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

    RE: Caitlin Upton[edit]

Is Caitlin Upton notable? She won the South Carolina Miss Teen USA pageant apparently, she finished fourth in the nationally televised event, and she is an internet celebrity because of this video. How is that not notable? There are piles of other beauty pageant profiles who base their notability on things like "appeared in commerical". Why aren't you deleting these? Why are these pageants listed at all on the wikipedia, if their participants are completly unimportant? Is it important to continually update the list of winners, and then disallow users from adding context?

Second you said I didn't provide source material. I provided a link to the video. Is actual video of an event not considered source material? Should I wait for the AP to write an article about the video and then post that? Would that blessing be sufficient? Furthermore, the number of views of that video adds credence to my first point, that she is, in fact, notable.

Please repost the article, or address these questions I have raised.

    XM[edit]

I assume you're asking about my speeding ticket?

Well, I've got another related issue Ill be posting about now. As to that specific case, the judge was impressed with my arguements and refused to enforce the provision in the constitution--I could have pressed the issue, but I could tell the judge was willing to go easier on me if I didn't... I got my fine cut by over 60%, so it was good I went to trial.

The prosecutor, however, seemed shocked and tried to argue the provision didn't apply. I could tell I caught him off gaurd but the judge told him not to worry about it. XM 19:27, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, yeah I'll probably be moving Robson to FAC by the end of the week, especially as no-one outside Oldelpaso has passed comment on the PR. As for reviewing FACs, I've been concentrating on GACs lately (see my medals, do you, do you??) but I've been asked to comment on History of Stoke City FAC, which is now on my list of things to do. Spot of Sock-like bother[edit]

Hi. You're easily the kindest non-supporter I've had on my RfA (for which I thank you profusely), and so I wonder if I could request your assistance. I've been having a lot of problems with user Danielthesaint, over at the Docklands Light Railway article, as is very, very evident in the history and on the talk page. His IP (78.86.0.134) has been blocked for a gross violation of WP:3RR on that article, his username has now also been blocked. Problem is, he's created a sock, User: Serco dlr, which he has used a) to attack my talk page (see here), and b) to attack my RfA - first oppose on the list (he hasn't quite mastered putting responses at the bottom). As it's my own RfA, I'm not keen on removing the vote - I wonder if you could possibly take a look and remove the offending vote, if you feel it appropriate given the evidence. Having not dealt particularly with socks before, I'd also appreciate it if you point me in the right direction as to what to do about this situation - Danielthesaint is blocked, but is using Serco dlr to circumvent that. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer ;) TheIslander 21:48, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's all been sorted - blocks all 'round ;P. Sorry to bother you, TheIslander 23:29, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice - never thought of that :P! Actually, there is something you could do for me. This user is just creating sock after sock after sock, and using a variety of IPs, and using the lot to attack me - take a look at the histories on my user and talk pages. I don't suppose you could semi-protect my user and talk pages for a short while? Say, 48 hours or something like that? I can keep reverting, as can others (I love RC patrollers), but it's getting kinda grating now - maybe a short stint where he can't do anything will make him give up. Or probably not, but it's worth a shot. I'd really appreciate it ;). TheIslander 17:10, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Heh, sorry for bothering you for nothing again - another admin saw what was going on and protected my pages straight away. TheIslander 23:58, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see much of a consensus yet, but it is leaning towards either merge or delete. The difficulty is asserting genuine notability, as I said in my comment, I'm not sure if this would set a precedent for everyone to put in notable matches (e.g. Ipswich 4-2 Barnsley, last club game at Wembley, Ipswich's first playoff success in four attempts, promotion to the Premiership followed by UEFA qualification...) so don't be disheartened. Plan for the merge... The Rambling Man 12:16, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your help tackling some of Bole2's comments. Funny he went from absolute oppose because of no mention of ITV to all of that! Anyway, I've dealt with all the comments now, so it's back to waiting again. Oh, and great work on the BMvNCFC article, it's looking very good and I've been convinced to move to keep. The Rambling Man 17:34, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and you'll need to move the article to Bayern Munich 1–2 Norwich City if it stays. Nasty en-dashes! The Rambling Man 17:42, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(←) Ooh, look. It might survive now! Good job between y'all. I still want it to be renamed, not just the en-dash, but are we setting a precedent to have articles named after results? Oh, and Robson has attracted SO MUCH ATTENTION I could pass out. So I might just do that. The Rambling Man 21:16, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, talk about getting into the minutiae. Oh well. Good luck, I'm going to be off-wiki for a bit I think, it's getting too much for me right now. I appreciated the comments of most but some in particular just want to argue the toss and I'm not here for that. I'll be back soon, good luck with the match report. The Rambling Man 21:32, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Huh, thanks! I bet I'll be back before long, I can't imagine abandoning Bobby. Besides if Bole2/Buc goes ape and mega-opposes I think I've got a positive consensus elsewhere. Attn: Dweller, Re: VC student Bart133[edit]

    I think he's ready.

The only reservation that I have is that he doesn't think he can write well, which is a lack of self-confidence because based on his post to the current VC classroom discussion on trends, I'd say he expresses himself in print very well. He's a natural writer and he doesn't even know it! That cracks me up. He can write, he can vandal hunt, he knows Wikipedia well, and he's trustworthy. kits[edit]

Kits a pretty standard on match articles (see the Bayern Munich category that the article is in). I'd say they're about as encyclopaedic as much of the other content, it all adds background to the match details. It also adds a bit of colour, which doesn't hurt, particularly as free images are hard to find. ArtVandelay13 16:24, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
