Copyright and images[edit]

I just saw that you added File:Polymer Polarity Chart.jpg to Polymer. Is this image compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License? Would you please add information to this effect to the description for that file? Copyright and Wikipedia contributions is covered here; you might also be interested in the Non-free content criteria. RE: About links removal Part #2[edit]

Hi Dzlotni23, Welcome to Wikipedia.

You asked about my editing of Ester and Polylactic acid that removed your additions to them as possible spam. Part of my concern was you seemed to be adding the same material to various articles (Polylactic acid and Plastarch material) and were putting the same link in the Reference section and the External links section. Some of it read more like an ad: "HallGreen products are a key contributor to this new world of bio-plastics modification." than a neutral point of view WP:NPOV addition. The part added to Esters seemed to be lifted from the reference you added which could be a copyright violation WP:Copyvio. Those are some of the indications that cause an editor to be concerned someone may be adding spam and look at the user's edits more closely with that in mind. You might want to check WP:Spam for possible additional concerns.

It is frequently hard to tell if someone is an enthusiastic user of a product or someone with a conflict of interest WP:Conflict of interest that makes it difficult for them to use a NPOV. I try to judge each addition independently; but, I'm sure I don't always succeed. I did leave the material you added to Plasticizer as that appeared to be more the place where it belongs and it was not pushing one company's products.

Let me know if I missed your concerns or can point to other parts of Wikipedia that might be of interest to you. Regards, ChemGardener (talk) 19:41, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
