Welcome![edit]

Hello, Eagle2468, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Shiva have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been or will be removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

Hi Eagle2468, while its hard to summarize all the policies of Wikipedia, a general note can be made. Please check out the core content policies[1]. And also when editing to articles about living people [2]. Shellwood (talk) 13:12, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Answer to your query[edit]

Hey! You asked me how I liked Wikipedia, and I'd say Wikipedia is great! Its a place where I can come and relax and at the same time, contribute to this treasure of human knowledge - be it striking down vandals or adding content to a page or just minor edits here and there. There's lots to be learned about Wikipedia, and I'm just a mere beginner. I hope to go a long way with my edits. Happy editing and hope to see you around more often! I like Wikipedia too. Despite its many faults it is a great resource and I like reading and writing about subjects which interest me, or sometimes finding out new things pretty much at random! (That's how I started with it back in 2002 - I was trying to find out about some flower ... and here I am.) That said, I do get pretty fed up sometimes with attitudes and behaviour here (some, not all) and I sometimes wonder if I should not do something else with my time. But, in general, I believe that it is a good and noble project, and I am happy to support it. I hope that this helps with your enquiry and I wish you Happy Editing. To make a good start, please visit the Tea House and say hello there - it is excellent for beginning editors. Best wishes, DBaK (talk) 13:42, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Do you ever get bored in wikipedia???Eagle2468 (talk) 15:33, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nope. There is just too much to do: patrolling, accepting, checking citations, helping others. I am always finding something to do or read here. d.g. L3X1 (distant write) 01:25, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
