Cheers for moving the comment off my userpage. How are you doing? --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 02:07, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm glad to hear you say that. I like to think I'm trying to do my bit around here, no matter how small. I'm currently working on another Amiga article, and it seems like I'm the only one working on that area (not that I mind though) --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 03:14, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Will do. I really appreciate all the help you've given me since I started --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 03:33, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Prodding

I noticed this message left by somebody who denied a speedy deletion request I made. Not eligible under criterion A7. Prodding. I understand why the request was not eligible, but I wonder what prodding is, and if its bad, what you would suggest I do to prevent it. Many thanks --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 17:23, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you, but I have no idea what to prod it for. I mean, it wasn't eligable under criterion A7, so I'm sort of stuck as to what to do. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 21:35, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Ah ok then, fair enough. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 22:07, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

RFA Thank spam

Thank you for voting in my RfA, which failed with 10 support, 26 oppose, and 13 neutral. Your comments were much appreciated.

On a personal note, thanks for pointing out my spelling errors. I'll be sure to work on that and actually address that issue rather than ignore it like I have been.--White Shadows There goes another day 16:23, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Neutrality

I created a new article (WarpUP). It achieved a start rating but a section has recieved a neutrality dispute tag. I was wondering what tips you could possibly give towards improving it. On an unrelated note, I checked my edit count, and it seemed that I had edited more talk and user pages than articles. Is that a bad thing? --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 23:10, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Reference help

I tagged FREEDOM4 WiFi for speedy deletion as it had no references whatsoever. The editor then added references, but I could do with your help discerning whether or not they are reliable, as I'm not quite sure myself. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 12:08, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Ah ok. I just wanted a second opinion as I'm still a little unsure as to what constitutes a reliable source. As to my edits, I'm trying to edit more articles than talk pages etc :). --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 16:13, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

AfD

I nominated Lydein as an article for deletion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2010_July_13#Lydein) but an editor keeps removing the tag. He has done the same for the PROD tag I put up and I'm not sure what else I can do. He/she seems to be utterly unresponsive. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 20:48, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

It wasnt that he removed the PROD, but he gave no reason for doing so, and there was no improvement in the article after it was removed. As for the AfD, I gave him a first warning about it, and it did get reverted, but I'm also keeping an eye on it. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 21:05, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Got it. Thanks for pointing that out. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 21:13, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Oops, sorry. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 21:17, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Gotcha. Thank you once again for your help. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 21:24, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Advice

I came across this article (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Songs_of_Ascent_%28album%29&redirect=no&rcid=385697227). I searched for the song and it appeared here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Songs_of_Ascent#Songs_of_Ascent) where it said that Songs of Ascent redirected to that particular section. I'm holding off from deleting it as I think it may be a discography, but I'm not sure. What do you think? --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 00:04, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

My First Barnstar

I got my first barnstar from another user. What exactly are barnstars for, or is it just something that that particular user does. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 23:54, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Oh yeah, don't often check the archives. And thats awesome. It makes me feel a whole lot more confident about editing. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 00:06, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Awesome. My edit count isn't something I check regularly, as I want my time on here to be based on quality rather than quantity, but I have come on in leaps and bounds since I started :D --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 00:27, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
It took me 6 months to really get going, and 4 of those had very little to nothing going on, so I'm sure your edit count will pick up :) --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 00:48, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Importance

I need some advice. I submitted an article for speedy deletion, but it was rejected on the grounds that being a bishop is an assertation of importance. I thought that being a bishop was just a job, like a fireman or a priest, and an assertation of importance was something along the lines of "so and so won the noble prize for literature three times in a row". I seem to be getting something wrong though, and I need some advice. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 23:36, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Christophe Lemaitre

Hi. Please check the French speaking version of the page Christophe Lemaitre. There is a link to an interview where Christophe Lemaitre states himself that there should be no circumflex accent on the "i". 84.193.193.137 (talk) 20:41, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

I understand that the proper spelling is without the circumflex, but you cannot just copy/paste the content from one article into another. This destroys the history of the article, and the only way to properly do it is with the "move" command. Now that you have edited the redirect, a move cannot take place until the redirect is first deleted. Sorry about not explaining in the edit summary. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:49, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Ow. Sorry about that. 84.193.193.137 (talk) 20:55, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
The correct spelling is Lemaitre (no doubt!). Look to all French newspapers ! --Enzino (talk) 21:22, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I know. Thanks. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:23, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
