Problems with upload of File:The Gobbins Logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:The Gobbins Logo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

The Gobbins sign[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your message. Unfortunately this image can't go on the page. If the council have a copyright claim on it (as they do as part of the website), in most cases it cannot be put on Wikipedia, even if they say it's ok to go on Wikipedia. This is due to the way Wikipedia is licensed. There are two ways the image could be included;

you get the council to release the image from copyright under a compatible licence.
you demonstrate that the image is fair use and indicate this on the image page.
