Ye olde tale of Ebilshroom[edit]

Oh editors, hear me! I bring to your ken,
Ebilshroom's sad story, heed it, oh men!
He added a jingle to several pages,
Now his story is one for the ages.

He thought Wikipedia his playground for verse,
His situation soon went from bad to worse.
His nonsense was cute but not wanted here
His user account was seen to disappear.

They banned him, they blocked him, they killed his IP
Too late for a promise, nor behaving plea!
They wrote his name in the blocked-user log
With the fatal legend: "Attention hog".

Poor Ebilshroom! Dropped out in pain!
Disappeared and never seen here again,
Banned for life, for life and a day,
All because he had nothing to say.

Seriously, though, we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so don't vandalize our articles. Some readers looking for a serious article might not find them amusing. Remember, millions of people read Wikipedia, so we have to take what we do a bit seriously here. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write whatever you want (as long as it's not offensive). Your edits to User talk:Phaedriel[edit]

You just don't get it, do you, Ebilshroom? Vandalizing Wikipedia is not allowed, and you will get blocked from editing continue to do so. Vandalizing WIkipedia is not funny, nor is it tolerated. If you continue, you will get blocked. If you are editing from a school, you will get blocked for six months and identified to be the person vandalizing Wikipedia. Does that make you want to stop? I hope so.
