Undid revision 670266992 by Dave souza (talk) restored original word "view" instead of theory. All citations preserved

Hey there, I'm new to editing, however, the article on Intelligent design (ID) which you and others keep on reverting, is highly biased, and does not meet wiki standards of: 

"verifiable, do not give undue weight"

The first line claiming ID is "pseudoscience" in unverifiable, and the article throughout gives undue weight as the view itself (ID) is neither proven nor disproven.

Notice, in my edits, I preserved all the citations claiming it was "pseudoscience", while clarifying it is still a "view" nevertheless. Hence my edits are factual, and meet wiki standards.

The article still has many defects showing clear bias and "undue weight" in such a fashion as to mock the view of ID throughout.

Can you at least allow the simple edits as made, since they did not remove any citations, but merely clarified it is still contested grounds?

Intelligent Design

User:Ebyabe, Hi. As you can see by this French Wikipedia page on Intelligent design (French: Dessein intelligent), they give both sides of the argument, presenting the subject in a more neutral tone. They write (translated from the French): "Intelligent design is presented as a scientific theory by its promoters, but in the scientific world it is considered as a pseudoscience, for reasons that both the internal facts of biology and also epistemological criteria cannot be rectified (the proponents of intelligent design appearing to biologists as having ignored numerous arguments, the more notable of which being the falsifiability criterion of Karl Popper)..." I am, therefore, quick to admit that the WP article on Intelligent design should at least attempt to show that ID is viewed differently by different folks, and that even if it were not a scientific theory, per se, it is still a philosophical question suggestive of something else beyond what is seen by our naked eye, and that some biochemists (i.e. Michael Behe) and physicists (i.e. Albert Einstein) have entertained that notion as a real possibility, given all their scientific experience. This has to stop

Listen I don't mean to bother you again, but I really think this has to stop at this moment. I just want to edit in peace on my own when i edit, it's just not right following users around and undoing there edits when they are editing. All I'm trying to do is provide sources in articles when I'm editing, I know I did make some mistakes for not providing a source for the information I added, But I learned not to forget next time, and I don't mean to forget. I'm just saying it's not right to do this when someone is editing an article after all there hard work they put in it. I'm not being rude or mean about this, I'm just saying in my thoughts that it's not really that right to do this to other users on wikipedia. You can remove this message if you want, but I already know you won't listen to this message I wrote, and ignore it too. I'm not being rude or mean at all, I'm just giving out my own thoughts. That's the thing, you keep repeating the same mistakes. Then you apologize and say you'll never do it again. But you do. Repeatedly. Then you 'retire' for a day, after saying everyone is being mean to you. When they are just following the policies here. Unlike you. Then you come back and the cycle starts all over again. As long as you continue the same pattern of behaviour, expect your edits to be reverted. Not just by me, but other Wikipedians as well.
If you took a month off and didn't do ANY EDITING ON WIKIPEDIA AT ALL, I think it would do you a world of good. Go outside, take a walk, go on a roadtrip, see a movie. Heck, if you want to edit, try a Disney Wikia. Just do something else. Because if you continue on your present path, you are going to get blocked. I've seen it happen here too many times before not to recognize the signs.

Hey E. Now that our long national nightmare is over I thought you should see these gems. This item came early in their career and was an unbelievable "dog ate my homework" excuse. It was changed to this four hours later. Then there was yesterdays edit summary (I hope you saw it as it has been rightly removed) where, among other things, FF2 hoped that we got "stewed". Now back in the day I was pretty good at that. There are many variations on the libations but one of my fave combos was Guinness and Jameson. So, you've been around long enough to have heard this before, but in case you want my opinion, I don't think the sarcasm is helpful. It's lots of fun, of course, but makes it slightly harder for strangers like me to drop by and see who's playing nice, and when you're this obviously in the right it's not helpful. I know it's unfair of me to scold you after you've been being baited by a nationalist for days, so sorry, but still. I'm an advocate of radical CIVILity: I think it's more useful both in the short term (making it easier for others to take your side) and long term (making the site more tolerable to useful editors).

I know, but it's my method of coping. I won't use expletives, but sometimes a vandal irritates the bleep out of me, and the sarcasm comes out. Plus it's an attempt to force them to discuss, in hopes of distracting from reverting. Which is a vain hope. I have duly reported myself for edit warring, b/c that's just who I am. Ironically, I was starting to sort of agree with them. Then they started sockpuppeting, and that just really sent me over. I have few qualms against those who are so thoroughly obstinate and clueless. Normally I stop myself, but tonight I was look, boom. But I do understand where you are coming from, and that's mostly my philosophy too. I'm going to bed now, 'cause this dingyness has keep me up way past my bedtime. :) And thank you for the comments about my photos. I love my historic photo roadtrips. Gods help me, I've uploaded over 20,000 photos to Wikimedia. Yeah, I know. If you are ever in Florida, I can point you to some interesting stuff that's not typical touristy. Wild Heron

That's weird. I don't remember taking those pictures at all. It may have been remodeled, or that was the likeliest looking house at the location. I don't think it can be the same house remodeled - they are too different. I live less than an hour away from there, and I go up that way a few times per year, so I'll check it out. You know the area better, so I will trust your judgement. Usually when I can look at a picture I took, the whole experience of taking it comes flooding back to me. I'll recall what was playing on the radio, the temperature, where I had to park, etc. For this place, nothing. Heck, even Google Street Viewing how I would have gotten there isn't bringing back anything. :(

I looked at it on Google Maps and the satellite view. Wild Heron Dr. goes to the house you photographed, the one I believe is the actual one on the NRHP, and one on the other side. It ends there. If it is a public street - no problem. But if it is a private drive, I'm going to stay out. From the public highway, I could easily get the house you photographed, but it is blocking the actual NRHP house. So it depends on whether or not that is a private drive. I understand. I've been kind of lucky with photo'ing houses, often meeting the owners. When I explain what I'm doing, they usually happily let me photograph the place. I've only had those two problems. I pulled into a private driveway and one man was positively angry. Another asked for identification, but was OK otherwise, but two or three times I asked if I could snap one quick photo, and he said nom it is private property. Often people ask me what I'm doing. One was concerned about the rain on my camera (it was raining a lot on my trip to Peach county a couple of weeks ago.) Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 02:30, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

It's been over ten years since my mom and I visited Nashville. We got a hotel near-ish to the airport, and I don't remember it being terribly pricey. But everything's gone up, hasn't it? Regarding the photo taking. I wouldn't pull into a private driveway. I usually park on the side of the road when I'm not in cities where I have to use actual parking spots. I'm a park and walk around kind of guy. With Google Street View, I've even taken to scout out potential parking spots in advance. And hey, at least you didn't drop your camera in a river. I was trying to get shots of the bridges over the Apalachicola River in Chattahoochee. Little did I know how muddy the river bottom was. My feet sank up to my ankles. I almost lost my sneakers. Trying to extricate myself, I dropped my camera. I got it out, but the next day or so there was an aura/fog around the edges of the photos I took. Surprisingly the camera lasted a while after that before finally giving out in Bartow in 2011. Where I got a better camera at Wal-Mart for a quarter of the price of the old one. I like getting under-bridge shots when I can, 'cause I think it's interesting to see the support structure. And I couldn't remember, so I checked the pictures. It was 4 months after dropping in the river that the camera finally phased out. So I was lucky there. What I recall more after the wet camera incident was taking my sneakers off and putting them on the dashboard to dry in the sun, since I didn't have a spare pair with me. Trip plans

Planing NHRP photo trips is fun. I plan that I can hit these counties if I go this route, these counties if I go a different route, etc. I started with ones close by. Then I made some trips that I could make in a few hours. And some trips I'm going somewhere anyway, and get things in the area or along the way. I've about run out of stuff that I can do without staying overnight, but I've got a couple of overnight trips in my mind. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 23:05, 23 August 2015 (UTC)

I like the planning part too. 'Cause I'm kind of OCD and I overplan. Spreadsheets with all the spots, maps of the best routes, and always more spots than I'm likely to able to visit. I don't want to run out part way through. Which has never happened. :) Actually, I have preparations for all of Florida, at least what I haven't seen yet. And places I want to revisit and/or get better shots. I also throw in other things, like museums and bridges and rivers and state parks. Which is how it started with me, wanting to visit and photograph all our state parks. One trip I'd like to do is US 441 through Georgia. I've driven all of it in Florida, and bits in Georgia, but not the whole way. Also there are a few covered bridges in Georgia I think and I'd like to see those.
