Minor edits[edit]

Hi Edisonwato. Thanks for your work to improve Wikipedia. Just a reminder: edits should be marked as "minor" only when they make no substantive changes. For instance, adding an internal link or fixing a typo would be considered a minor edit; adding, removing or changing details would not. Please see Help:Minor edit for more details. Happy editing! October 2020[edit]

Information icon Hi Edisonwato! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Emily in Paris that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Your thread has been archived[edit]

Teahouse logo

Hi Edisonwato! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, how to pose a question on a sentence that is part of a published post, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.
