Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Sam Roberts - Love at the End of the World.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 04:35, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I can't see any blocks directly placed against this account; could you paste in the "global block" notice you are receiving so that we can assist you? Kuru (talk) 16:32, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The message, "Editing from your IP address or IP address range has been disabled on all wikis by Shizhao (meta.wikimedia.org). The reason given was "Open proxy"." is appearing on and off. It never happened to me before and I haven't changed ISPs or anything like that.

If you are comfortable doing so, could you tell us what IP address it says you're blocked from? Without that we cannot do anything more. Daniel Case (talk) 16:53, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

According to whatismyip.com, my IP address is 195.229.235.43. Thanks for the help.

The IP, 195.229.235.43, is not globally blocked. Can you edit the sandbox? Elockid (Talk) 18:48, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's likely that you're hitting a global block on an IP that is being rotated in by your ISP. The IP you gave us is not the problematic one. We cannot research this until you find the one that is causing the problem. The next time the message pops up; please copy in the IP address given. Kuru (talk) 19:54, 18 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Collider.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Collider.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 10:09, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
