Just been watching the last half of "Britain's Top 20 Dance Moments" on ITV1 (my mother removed the ITV button from our childhood television, so it is still a guilty pleasure), and there was NO ballet. DYK is a great idea. With that in mind, I've expanded it a bit more. The 2004 BBC article contains a photo that looks to be from the original production. I had a suspicion that you were really after that part. The problem with the entire edit was that the removal went too far. That Mura is the border between Prekmurje and Međimurje cannot be contentious, but that specific claim about the cadastre can. Your latest revision of the text is an improvement over what was there originally. However, including the historical background about Prekmurje and Međimurje (which would be better placed in those two articles) may lead to misunderstandings. Rakesh Kapoor

"Following pressure from the Financial Services Authority, Reckitt Benckiser belatedly admitted in October 2012 that in 2010 Kapoor had secured a loan against £6m worth of shares in the company. Such undisclosed loans are considered more likely to distort an executive's behaviour than borrowings that are open and known to all. This issue of executive disclosures rose to prominence in 2008 when Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross had to resign after undisclosed use of £201 millon in shares as collateral came to light.[5] The requirement to disclose is to minimise any distortion in executive behaviour."

I believe this paragraph should be deleted for the following reasons:

1. It is inaccurate

• "Following pressure from the Financial Services Authority" - is untrue. Following an internal review, Reckitt Benckiser (RB) decided that share transactions in 2009-2010 relating to a couple of executives, ie Mr Freddy Caspers and Mr Rakesh Kapoor should have been disclosed to the market. The article suggests that the FSA PRESSURISED RB to disclose the loan, but this was not the case. RB, albeit belatedly, self reported the case to the FSA.

2. It is misleading - The paragraph draws comparison with the case of David Ross of Carphone Warehouse, which is contextually flawed and misleading to readers. The two cases have important differences:

• Kapoor's loan was disclosed and approved internally. In failing to report the loan to the FSA, RB has admitted administrative oversight and no wrong doing on Kapoor's part, since it is the company's perogative to inform the FSA
• Ross, on the other hand, used his shares as collateral without informing the company - this is a breach of the FSA code of conduct

- The two cases are therefore not comparable: one was administrative oversight on part of the company; the other was a failure to abide by the FSA's stipulated conduct (the "Model Code")

3. It is incorrectly placed - The subject of the paragraph is not Kapoor's loan; rather, it is RB's oversight in reporting to the FSA - The paragraph is arguably better placed in Reckitt Benckiser's wiki page and not on Kapoor's

4. It is highly defamatory, and is damaging to Kapoor's reputation - The article does not correctly portray the situation and therefore is damaging to Kapoor from a repetitional standpoint - This paragraph is sensationalist in nature

Please may I request that you/the article author (User:Edwardx) remove the aforementioned paragraph as soon as possible. As an avid user/believer in the core concept and values of Wikipedia, I believe articles should be written as objectively as possible ("an encyclopaedia not a tabloid"), and unfortunately this paragraph leans more towards the tabloid than the encyclopaedia.

And because you ask - yes I am related to Rakesh Kapoor and yes I have very carefully read through Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies. However, all of the arguments placed above are factual (and correctly sourced) and do not present any opinion/value judgement.

So just to shed some more light on this - another RB exec's share dealing - Freddie Caspers were also not disclosed (see prev links I sent).

The issue, therefore, is much more about RB failing to fulfil its obligation, not Kapoor or Caspers. Therefore, this para is totally misplaced on Kapoor's page, and should be moved from Kapoor's to RB's page. Moreover, the revised para is unfair on Kapoor and is damaging to his reputation.

As pointed out, the paragraph is totally misplaced on Kapoor's page. The company missed reporting share dealings relating to not just Kapoor, but also Caspers. The company acknowledged it was not Mr Kapoor's fault but an administrative oversight that affected dealings of both individuals. By placing this on Kapoor's page assigns blame to him and is slanderous, unfair and defamatory which is totally wrong.

Please remove this from Mr Kapoors page from immediate effect. I leave it to you to decide if this should be in Reckitt's page, although the content should be presented in a more neutral and objective form versus how it currently reads, which is sensationalist and (in part) off-topic. As an example, something like this is more appropriate:

"Following an internal review, RB belatedly reported to the FSA in Oct 2012 share dealings related to two of its executives: Mr Kapoor and Mr Caspers. In 2010 Kapoor had secured a loan against £7.4m worth of shares in the company. Such undisclosed loans are considered more likely to distort an executive's behaviour than borrowings that are open and known to all. This issue of executive disclosures rose to prominence in 2008 when Carphone Warehouse co-founder David Ross had to resign after undisclosed use of £201 millon in shares as collateral came to light.[5][6]. According to The Daily Telegraph, "A spokesman for the company said the failure to disclose the loans to the market was not the fault of Mr Kapoor who had told the company of the situation. "[7] Mr Kapoor was not a Director of the company at the time he took the loan*.

• Only appointed CEO on September 2011

Hi Edwardx. I spotted that you recently added an archive picture of James Lovelock to the eponymous article. It doesn't have a date with it, and there isn't one associated with the original uploaded file either. I've tried to track down the file's uploader, but I seem to be (inexplicably) drawing a blank there. Anyway, I wondered if you've any idea about the photograph's date? @PLUMBAGO I've added several of these MRC-released photos to articles. As you will see here, there are others of Lovelock. I found out about them from the latest edit to the page for an editathon where I was one of the trainers, Wikipedia:WikiProject Women's History/NIMR2013. That edit was by Daria Cybulska (WMUK, so she should be able to point you in the right direction. Yes, dates would enhance the value of the images for our users. Edwardx - as you can see I work on UK and US political figures only (mostly UK). I fact check, bring up to date and/or add any significant information which is missing. I have been contemplating tackling the Shapps page which is in need of some work. It's missing key facts. Looks to have been hijacked somewhat and is in need of tightening up with proper balance achieved. However, before I do anything I wanted to touch base with you because I can see you've been in protacted dispute with an annoying anon user who has been removing large chunks of text without justification and acting in an inappropriate manner. Obviously I accept that you don't have a hold over this page more than me or any other editor, but I do respect your length of service as a wiki editor and didn't want to drop in without communicating with you first. As you'll see from my overall contributions I generally make small, properly researched contributions. I don't generally get involved in disputes. Yes agreed! Okay, so this is going to be my general approach. I can see that there is quite a bit of surperflous information in there - for example a very minor report about a stock header image on a Conservative website is turned into a comment about Shapps, whereas it seems highly unlikely that a Party Chairman would have directed which graphic to use on a website page. This clearly doesn't belong in a biography. However, I will also be careful not to remove criticism or negative (cited) comment/stories. This should be a balanced and dispassionate article like all others. I've now read through all the notes on the Shapps talk page. Others have made the observation that this article should not lead off with other aka's as he's no more known by these than JK Rowling is known by her pen name. I'll start with this small amend and it might be helpful if you could assist in making that change if it's argued back and forth. Do you have other tricky British political articles to sort out? Hello Edwardx, In 2006 you have added "of Hungarian Jewish ancestry" to the article. Have you got any source for the Hungarian connection? I could track the (Jewish) Mosheim family back to 1750 in the area of Gießen in Germany, but without without any hint of Hungarian descent.Morinox (talk) 15:40, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

Good question! Her 1936 passport [1] is Hungarian, so that's probably the source of that information. Perhaps she was issued this passport as she was married at that time to Oskar Homolka, who was of Austro-Hungarian ancestry. Although there was a significant German minority in Hungary, the more I think about it Mosheim was never Hungarian. So, "of German Jewish ancestry" would be better. Thanks. I think you are right and I intend to change the article accordingly.

Nevertheless, I am somewhat intrigued by that passeport. It shows a validity of only one year and gives as "domicile" Budapest, where none of the couple appear to have ever lived. I imagine it is a kind of passport of convenience in difficult times which they somehow managed to get hold of.

Good to see you at the Mall the other day and I see you've been following up. My crew here got several articles done on Ada Lovelace Day itself and I've been following up by nominating them for DYK. One good tip which I noticed another editor doing is putting a comment to mark the article as being associated with this push - see October 15. Conflicting birth dates

BTW if you're interested in country houses in wider England there's a list of demolished houses in here which I eventually intended adding to List of country houses in the United Kingdom and ploughing through. Thank you! I recall that I've added one or two things to that List of country houses in the United Kingdom, and I'll try to add more. I'm enjoying writing these historic house articles, at least up to DYK standard, so I'm likely to become a regular in this field. Taking photos of houses near me in Chelsea in September's competition was what really got me started, so I'll probably focus on ones that are still there for now anyway... Recent uncited additions to Chiswick

Thank you for your recent additions to Chiswick. However I note that the claim that "most" of the historic pubs in Chiswick are listed buildings is very broad and uncited. I suggest we replace "most" with "some", and that a citation be provided for each pub. Adding claims to an existing paragraph appears misleadingly to the reader to imply that the claims fall within the existing citation, so it is a practice best avoided at all times.
