Hi Ian,
I cannot tell if my article titled "Social buffering" has been uploaded--could you help me? I moved it to the main page, but I'm still uncertain if I did this correctly. Thank you for your help! Effblandl (talk) 09:26, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nomination of Social buffering[edit]

Hello! Your submission of Social buffering at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) at your nomination's entry and respond there at your earliest convenience. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! ~ F4U (talkthey/it) 05:52, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Thank you for your help and comments! I am reviewing the feedback and making changes. Once I am finished do I have to re-apply to be considered for Did You Know, or should I reach back out to you?
I appreciate the guidance! Effblandl (talk) 05:09, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Effblandl: There's no need to re-apply—once you've finished making the changes, you can leave a message and I'll be able to re-review it. Cheers! ~ F4U (talkthey/it) 19:49, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I apologize for the delay--I have updated the sourcing in the article. I have also added two research review articles that specifically recognize the cited fact about the sheep as social buffering in addition to the original cited source.
Please let me know if this suffices, and thank you so much! Effblandl (talk) 08:28, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Social buffering[edit]

On 19 January 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Social buffering, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that sheep can get less stressed when looking at pictures of other sheep? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Social buffering. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Social buffering), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
